Great location on the upstairs patio overlooking the marina and Blockhouse Island. Good food and wine.

Probably one of the nicest hotel accommodations I've stayed at in my life. Great location, great rooms, great amenities, great people. Wish the rates didn't go up in the summer, but it's worth every dime.

Best hotel in Shawville. Stay a while!

Initially we thought the price good, but considering it was off season for tourism (museums closed, lock system not operating etc.) the rates were a bit high. However the room and amenities were lovely, the space well laid out and we enjoyed our stay.

Location needs updating along with breakfast. Beds were very uncomfortable rooms lacking and smelled. The staff is what’s amazing about this location. Exceeding expectations and going out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. Too many names to mention. House keeping,front desk to building maintenance guy. High quality. The only reason for three stars! Thank you so much for your hard work!

Very nice place clean and affordable I love it.

This place was a great place to stop for the night for my girlfriend and i the staff was friendly and told us about fun stuff to do in town! The rooms were very clean and nice even if the outside doesnt look like it, very nice up to date rooms! I would deffinatly stay here again!

Very very friendly staff,very affordable,beds are comfy and pillows are soft,clean rooms,no smells,NO BUGS,comfortable vibes,coffee and danish for breakfast I recommend it if you need a place too stay

Affordable, well appointed, modern rooms. This hotel is conveniently located. A modern retake of the classic motor court style lodging. Beautiful clematis flowers dress up the parking area too!

Facilities were clean, stocked and prepared. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and standard fair: eggs, danish, sausage, waffles, various juices. Only issue was pricing. There was nothing about the hotel that warranted a hundred dollars a night. They didn't have a pool, workout facilities or any other accoutrements that higher-cost facilities provide. I would absolutely consider them again in the future if the price was right.

The room is big and very clean, has a mini fridge and microwave, big tv and a small table with 2 chairs... The bed is very comfortable too 😉. Great location aswell, I'd diffenitly come back

Great pool and water slides. Kids will enjoy this hotel. There were couple of issues i had. Ac was not cooling and was loud and both my rooms keys just did not work even after reprogramming them.

I give this 5 stars as it more than fulfills it's mandate of providing clean and pleasant overnight accommodation. My wife and I started using non branded motels like this when we were so remote that there were no Chain hotels and have not gone back to them since. My wife and I agree the Sun Parlor is the very nicest of the motels we have stayed at in the past year. I think you are able to see photos of other ones we have stayed at.
