Doors & drawer fronts came out great! These are quarter-sawn red oak. searched the web & found this place to be the most affordable BAR NONE!

11 months ago When the coronavirus hit and the governor of ohio put the stay at home order in place I asked the plant manager if he would be ok if I took some time off because my wife has bad asthma he told me not a problem just use all your personal time off first. So I did. I checked with him and my department manager and also my supervisor several times to make sure it was ok that I was off and all I was told is that it was ok and they have my back. Next thing I know on 4/13 I was laid off. And then on 6/3. I received a letter saying that my employment with Carter lumber will be terminated on 7/12. Without any reason in the letter why. I had to call the human resource department to find out why and they said my position was eliminated. Huh.. and this is all carried out by men who claim to know and have a relationship with God. Wow. This is what the scriptures mean when it says that my name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you. Very sad....

I called in with a very unique request and was told to stop in. I was fully expecting to be turned away after explaining the work that I needed done. (custom cut of a counter top that was bought at lowe's) not only did Tim cut the table the exact way I wanted it. But he was so polite and all of this happened in a matter of 4 hours. They were timely, professional, and did quality work. very impressed.

Quality wood compared to large stores. The wood is air dried and doesn't split. Friendly people. Best rough cut wood around.

White Pine Lumber was great to deal with, they were good on the phone and were quick to respond to emails. They had no issue filling my larger (1700sq') order with good quality product on a short timeline, their price was great as well. If my next home needs similar flooring I will not hesitate to call them again and I have recommended them to multiple friends and clients already. They even offered to show me how to properly finish the flooring.

The epitome of an old school millwork shop. It's worth a visit just to see what they can make and their fantastic machines. For folks raised in the generation of Home Depot and Lowe's, this place is quite an education into what people really can do with wood,
