Love training here! The location is great and the lobby and mat space are beautiful! One of the best looking gyms I've trained at. Tim and Sara give outstanding instructions in their classes. I mostly train in jiu jitsu and Tim's many years of experience are extremely obvious. His attention to detail and patience as a coach are spot on and such a crucial part of his student's ability to learn. The monthly price is great especially with no limit to the number of classes you can attend, and noon and evening classes so I can train around my work schedule. I'm looking forward to training here for many years!

Highly effective training in a non-competitive but pleasantly intense environment. Instructors walk the walk. Students are just a great bunch. Highest possible recommendation.

Great instructors that care for your well being in and out of the gym. Adam Ryan and his family are all exceptional professionals - that truly believe in the spirit of what they teach. Exactly what you need as a novice just coming into this or an already well established fighter/athlete - you won't regret it! I don't do reviews often but there is a reason why Checkmat Vancouver (aka Dynamic MMA) is the top club in the lower mainland. Do yourself a favor and try it, you have nothing to loose.

I’ve known Sensei Joe for about a decade now and I can honestly say.. This man has put in a lot of heart and hard work to get to where he is today. When I first met him, he invited me over to train with him at his place in his garage. He is very generous and down to earth. He inspires me and pushes me further in training. He has guided me and many others. He will always be a big brother to me. Nothing but love and respect for him. Ossssu!

This place is a must! The instructors are top notch and incredibly engaging with the children. A perfect atmosphere, abundantly peaceful and positive. We are so thankful to have found them. The pricing is exceptionally reasonable. We even live in Vancouver, and have no problem with the drive out to Richmond for classes -- it's definitely worth it, considering the calibre of everything that they offer!

Just a shout out to anyone looking for a jiu-jitsu martial arts place in Surrey I’ve been taking my son to kaboom for about 5 years and this was the best choice I’ve ever made the reason why I say that is because the coaching team there are awesome they really adapt to what the kids need they make it fun for the kids to learn and grow with jiu-jitsu they bring out the best in your child

Great positive atmosphere and people

Coach Angie is an excellent teacher! She is extremely kind, knowledgable and motivating. There are lots of different classes to choose from (including a mommy & me class which is extreme convenient) every class seems to be different from the last! I highly recommend this gym to anyone wanting an amazing workout😊

everyone here was very supportive and forgiving, helped me in every way they could., Sensei was a great teacher at both martial arts and things in life like notice the details, even after I leave I will never forget this place, never even felt like a school because everyone was like a family.
