If you're looking for a "McDojo", this isn't it. They constantly encourage you to set a goal and to reach it. Being a non-profit, they do not ding you for cash. I've been practicing Aikido there for several month and the Dojo is totally awesome! I did my research before I started and this is the best dojo in the area. Sensei Sammy is super kind and has a really special way of teaching. Other Senseis and students in dojo are also nice people! If you're looking for a place to learn or practice Karate, Aikido, or Judo this is definitely THE dojo you should consider! Just come and experience a class then you will know how awesome the Dojo is!

I have been training with the ACS for two years now and they are in my opinion the best HEMA club in Ottawa.
The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and teach in a very safe manner considering the material is sword fighting. The class is very reasonably priced, and they even loan you steel swords to train with!
This group trains for and participates in tournaments, does wrestling, mixed weapons, armored combat, and practice interpreting historical translated manuals. If you are at all interested in historical sword fighting then check these guys out.
