Martial Arts

Sifu Calvin Chung is one of the most dedicated, engaging, and wise instructors I've had the great fortune to train with. His approach to Kung Fu and how it can benefit all aspects of your life has been life alerting.

Please ignore Ash Ketchum's comment, it was meant to be a joke! Ron Beer self defense center has a lot of wisdom in the concept of martial arts and has given lots of advice and training to help better your craft in martial arts including boxing and wrestling. If you live close by, definitely give it a try!

Filipino martial arts is awesome!! It has helped enhance my lifestyle in many ways through fitness, discipline, knowledge and respect just to name a few.. Guro Melo Abas can not only adapt to teaching any kind of student from beginner to advanced, but also makes it fun for all participating, plus you get fit too ... His dynamic resourceful class provides key essential training to allow you to be fully prepared for any realistic encounter you may experience.. I highly recommend contact info for coachable students willing to grasp an interesting valuable experience!

The Sifu's are fantastic teachers, and the community is very warm and friendly. It feels like a family.

My son attended this club. Thanks to professionalism and hard work of the coaches, especially Ali, he managed to win a medal in a provincial tournament. Highly recommended!

Super école, énergie intense. Sifu Patrick Marcil s'assure toujours que l'on s'améliore. Merci!

experience unique, une grande famille , pour debutant, intermediaire et avance! que ce soi mise en forme ou pour sapprendre a se defendre ou meme ceux qui veulent fighter, c est le meilleur endroit!!!!

It's a great dojo, great people, great atmosphere, great environment, lots to learn you can learn so much there.

We've been coming here since 2012 and it's been a great experience. Our kids love their instructors and learning kung-fu. All of the instructors are amazing and are great with kids. The facilities are clean and provide a great learning atmosphere. We look forward to coming here for many more years to come.

Great dojo, great training. I did approx two years of training there after five years of wrestling. The progression in technique was excellent, with a steady build up on new techniques as well as taking the time to perfect old ones for both brazilian and traditional jiu jitsu. The kickboxing classes made you work hard, and the sparring classes were well organized and purposeful. The sparring classes were typically small, which was great because they offered a more personal training experience with plenty of time to fight. There were people with different levels of experience, and all levels were managed really effectively. Being more experienced did not mean that you were wasting your time, and being new did not mean that your learning curve was extremely steep. Definitely recommend for anyone. I took the bus from downtown Ottawa to this location instead of something closer because of the quality.

Great kids program!

Great instructors and atmosphere

Fantastic place for everyone. It's like a second home.

Very dedicated owner, not only to their clientele but also to their discipline in Karate and fitness. Highly recommended.
