I was initially drawn to this place because the workout and the fun instructor. They really took me in as a part of the family from the very beginning. That's really how it was, a place where everyone knows everyone. Had a blast going to tournaments, competing with friends to Black belt, joining the demonstration team, etc. Really excited to go back to train here after college ended :)

Ms Wolf is an amazing instructor. She is especially good with younger students. Great at setting achievable goals, and helping them quickly progress. Would not hesitate to recommend her & her school to anyone who is interested in martial arts for their children.

Almost 3 years ago I met Mr. McIlmoyl at the Broadway St Restoration Grand Opening celebration. At that time I was Chair of the PAC at James Park Elementary and was intrigued by his mention of fundraising opportunities. I took the information he gave me and provided him with my email/phone number so that he could set up a meeting with the PAC to go over how he could raise funds for us. A few months later, after some meetings, Sun Hang Do provided training for all of the students at James Park at no cost. At the end of the 5 days of training that took place during their regular P.E classes there was a demonstration of what the students had learned. That year, two of my kids took part but I did not attend. In the fall, they came back and did the same thing again. This time I sat through the demonstration and was amazed at how Mr. Park took control of the room and everyone in it with no microphone and no yelling. I was even more impressed when I saw how much fun my kids and everyone else had. This time I received a notice that there was a fundraiser movie night on the Saturday following the week of training. I did not do much more than glance at it until after school on the Friday. Low and behold it said that I could drop my 3 kids off at the Do Jang (Sun Hang Do gym) for 3 hours at no cost!!! I immediately called the number on the flyer and signed my kids up. I dropped them off the next night and used my 3 free hours to clean my house. At the end of the 3 hours, I went to pick up my kids and heard how they could try out Sun Hang Do at no charge for a week. One of the 3 of them really wanted to try so we did. Now almost 18 months later I have a purple-black belt 9 year old, a purple belt 8 year old, and a blue belt 5 year old. Sun Hang do is a large part of our lives. They still come to the school too. This year the movie night fundraiser raised $565 for the James Park PAC and the PAC didn't have to do anything. The fundraiser movie nights do cost $10 but it's for a good cause and you can't get babysitting that cheap most of the time. I recommend coming in to check out a class, call about a movie night, find Sun Hang Do at a community event around you as a parent, PAC person and community member they are definitely an organization to check out.

Had our son's 5 birthday party here and it was fantastic! The staff were amazing with all 15 kids and kept them occupied and well behaved but also having the time of their lives. Most importantly, my son was beaming the whole time! They went above and beyond to make him feel like it was truly his special day. Thank you!

I've been training in the adult class under Sean for a year. My daughters (9 and 4) both train in his kids class. Sean is insightful about martial arts, fitness and general health. The classes are fun, challenging and about personal growth. Great for beginners who want to try it out in a positive environment. Highly recommend.

Our family has been with Fremont Martial Arts for three years; I have children in both the Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu programs. During that time, we have seen growth in our children on and off of the mats; self confidence has increased, skills have improved, and a sense of pride in their work has developped. Mr. Kevin is an exceptional instructor. He takes the time to know each of his students, and adapts quickly to their needs.

I have been going to this gym for the last six months and have nothing negative to say about it. I choose to practice at Scorpion MMA because of the fun, ego-less atmosphere it posesses in comparison to other gyms. As a female, nothing is more intimidating than walking into a male dominant gym, especially when you have little or no experience in the sport. Scorpion MMA provides me with a challenging but rewarding environment to learn in. I found that I not only learn from the coaches, but I also learn from my peers. Everyone treats each other as family and is very respectful of the varying skill levels present. Kickboxing may not be a team sport, but you'll definitely feel like a part of a team when you train here.

i can simply not say enough about everyone at the club.......shelia and clayton make it feel like home alex is another instructor there who is very warm and patient and welcoming, brian is very dedicated and puts in extra effort to help you meet your goals. and i believe the other instructors name is thomas for brazian jazitzu some nights, he pushes you and helps with form. i am extreamly happy in other parts of my life now due to the training and kindness from everyone at the club. i am a bigger woman and was uneasy at first, worring i wouldnt be able to keep up or made fun of who knows.....but it simply was just not that way, not only am i getting in shape and feeling better and learning a great skill that can help keep me safe out in the real world but i am also building more then that, confidence, stregth in self, hope for a better body :) (while having fun) and friendships :) thank you once again see you tonight! and many nights to come. :)
