Martial Arts

Yi Sport is the place you bring your kid if you want them to be challenged. The boys and girls that stick with it learn mental toughness, discipline, self-respect, and become excellent athletes along the way. This is so because of the tremendous devotion and depth of expertise Coach Lionel Lee, Coach Sara, and Coach Khalil bring to the work the work they do in the gym. The emphasis is on Olympic style Taekwondo sparring. The drills and conditioning are in preparation for tournament sparring, at which Yi Sport fighters excel. In addition to excellent coaching, the success the has seen at tournaments at all levels is owed to the uniquely supportive community of parents and team mates that has developed over the years. I can't imagine a group of kids I would rather have my boys hanging out with. For children with national level competitive aspirations, this is where you go to get your training. More important, I'm happy that my children are getting a taste of what it takes to be good at something; an experience I know they will draw on again and again in life.

Very hospitable, the lady on the phone is really nice! Thank you!

Great and very experienced teacher. She gives personal attention to the kids. My kids were earlier learning taekwondo in some other school but most of schools are commercialized. Adventure Taekwondo is an exception. Teacher is more dedicated to the martial art. She do not tolerate indiscipline in class and work hard with kids. Number of students are also very less in each class. I would highly recommend this school for kids and adults.

The food here is AMAZING! Best place to stop by and dine with your family and relatives. Best restaurant you will ever find in Bellevue.

great training area even for visitors, will come back

I'm coming this week 😚

The man is a nut head. Back in high school he wanted me to drop out of high school and call it home schooling just so he can have me sweep and mop he didn't care about my education in fact he told me he would get me into Wilson high school when I was kicked out of Curtis high. I ended going to stadium. After he found out he threw a fist about it because it was far away in downtown and he claims he got me a truck but truthfully that was BS he said he teach me how to drive and see to it I have a truck for business well that was BS. He only uses people. Word is that his wife left him and that he keeps opening up businesses and then closing them now he went bankrupt many times and now he doesn't own that property anymore.

There are many places where you can take you child, spend your money and hope for the best. At Master Shon's, we feel our child is in good hands, and it all flows from Master Shon. He is intense, driven, strict and tough, but also calm, congenial and concerned for your child's ability to deal with life. He will work harder than you in developing skills that are hard to teach. Our daughter has been attending Master Shon's academy for almost four years now, She will enter middle school next year and I feel that Master Shon has helped her to be ready to succeed at whatever she decides to tackle.

Great school, has some of the top athletes in the country

Mr. Kim is an amazing teacher. You can tell all the people who go here love and respect him.

My name is Tony, and I am a senior (age) student. I have studied TKD here for approx 18 months. I chose this school because the instructor, Master Ron, teaches the Art of TKD rather than the sport. I am not interested in "advancing" as fast as possible, but rather in learning the art. Master Ron works hard at instilling the discipline and skills necessary to both excell and advance in the art. He is more interested in the abilities of the student, helping each person to learn traits and skills that will help them outside of the classroom as well as in it. Standards of conduct are taught and required. Honor for eachother and the instructor, patience, self control, and respect are the foundation of this school. I have studied at other schools, and was not satisfied with the level of competence needed to advance. Master Ron demands high standards of skills and discipline before advancing students. I have personally watched Master Ron give young students assignments to go home and have parents give chores as reinforcements of conduct and attitude standards. I think this type of teaching is needed in the public schools as well as all martial arts schools.

Love this place and love the people, I couldn't imagine a better atmosphere to shake out your sillys and sweat.

Master Parker is an amazing Coach, fighter and friend. MTA is a great place to train your body and mind!

A great teacher inspires - takes the time to explain, mentor and coach over any obstacle or challenge to build the student. The teacher success is the students success. That is what you will find at Selchs Taekwon Do! Best Instructor and true to life skills - not for show but for self defense, confidence and respect. Absolute best I have ever seen.
