Stopped by Crossfit Anchored Athletics from out of town, for a few drop in classes - great gym and people!

So thankful for such an empowering place to send my son. He has been going here for just over a year (twice a week). All their instructors are kind and caring,and patient as they have numerous children on the autism spectrum. Highly recommend this place !!

It teaches you taekwondo and Mr and Ms Armstrong are really nice and I been there for two years now and they teach more than just taekwondo they teach respect and other stuff

My daughter tried this place out but she was sore the next day and quit. But she wants to let people know that this place is great.

Our experience with Yong In Taigon Taekwondo has been fantastic. Our oldest son, now 5 years old, has been attending classes for the last 1.5 years and he loves it. Now his younger brother will join him. As parents we find every class targeted to develop, not only martial arts knowledge and skills, but also targeted to the integrity and character of the kids. Both Master Kim and Master Santiago have impressed us with their ability to manage little kids and keep them focused, entertained and pushing them to do better. I would highly recommend this place.

Wow, where do I even begin? Brent, the owner is amazing! He smashes whatever stereotype people have about crossfit. No, you will not injure yourself if you do crossfit as long as you are doing it correctly. He is all about proper form -- this is a big one! He will call you out if you are doing something that can potentially hurt you. He's amazing! He cares about his clients and will remember your name. He has a great sense of humour that can't be beat! As someone who has been physically inactive for years, the first month (basics) was brutal, but totally worth it. I'm now two weeks into the normal classes and I actually look forward to going! I never thought I'd enjoy it so much. The classes are great. Everyone is so supportive. Don't be intimidated by the long term members -- they are all super nice and supportive. We all have to start somewhere. If you're new and not as strong, Brent (or whoever is teaching that time) will give you lots of attention and make sure you're doing it safely and effectively. It's like having your own personal trainer. Don't put off your goals any longer. If you have been thinking about signing up for a gym membership, this is the best place to do it. Just like starting any habit, your first month will be difficult. But if you stick with it, you'll learn to love it. And you'll have a team of staff and other clients who will support you in your fitness goals! Thank you Keating CrossFit for all that you've done for us! :D

The dojo is a fun environment and the classes are very kid friendly. So we did two trial classes. The kids liked the classes. Unfortunately we discovered the least friendly pricing model I think I've ever seen for a kids program. You need to pay by belt level (e.g. up to yellow belt). There is no way to know for sure how many months this will cover, plus it forces families to lock in and spend a lot of money upfront (at least $1k per child). This might be in Canada's Best Karate's interest, but its hard to see how this is in the customers best interest. The other big frustration is that the pricing model was not revealed to us until after we had tried 2 classes, despite us asking about it multiple times. Why not communicate this clearly upfront so you don't waste people's time. I had high hopes and was disappointed. My advice, try somewhere else. We just signed up for a class at Cedar Hill Rec Center. The calibre of marital arts is great, its still kid friendly, and its less than half the price. I'd rate the program higher on its own merit (maybe even a 4), but gave it a 2 overall because of their pricing model.
