I recently purchased a home using Caliber Home Loans. I worked with Lori Sorrels who was absolutely professional and worked hard to get us what we needed. I was even out of the state while purchasing my home... and while that did present some challenges, Lori was always on top of it, kept me informed, and got the job done. Would definitely recommend them in the future!

Stacie is very communicative and professional. She has a great attention to detail, which means that she addresses needs before they can become issues. Stacie is also cutting edge with technology in the mortgage industry. She is a go-getter and adaptive. I could not ask for a better lender.

Only get a one star because i cant give 0 I applied for a house and they said I didn't pass because of my background check. I have court certified documents showing the charge was a false report and all charges were dropped. They wouldn't respond to calls or texts after that... I HAVE CERTIFIED COURT DOCUMENTS SHOWING IT WAS ALL FALSE AND DROPPED/DISMISSED but they didn't care the sec they got that 60$ they were done dealing with me. The guy I was dealing with (Bruce) wouldn't return my calls or texts after that and wouldn't even give me the chance to show them my certified papers to show them everything was false their happy with the quick $60. Would never deal with them or recommend them to everyone. Will write a bad review on every website they have!

I will try to be brief, however I do not want anyone reading this to be short changed in my experience. I was referred to Mortgage Solutions Financial by my Real Estate company, Marc Guile specifically. I went through the easy pre-approval process, went under contract for a home, and began the process of document collections, et cetera. During the pre-approval process, my interest rate was said to be 4-4.35%. That's what I was assured. A few days before we locked in the rate, it increased to 4.5% because, "well, rates increased". Then, when we did lock in the rate, it skyrocketed to 5% because, "that's just where we are at right now". But not to worry, I was assured we could take steps in shrinking that interest rate. A little bit of a disclosure, my credit score is not the best. However, I knew this going into the process and was not the one who quoted me for the above interest rates. Regardless, the ball kept rolling. Although I was comfortable from the start at paying an interest rate around 5%, the underlining principle here and the common theme throughout is dishonesty. Why try to manipulate a first-time Active Duty home buyer? I am not sure. Towards the end of the process, Marc developed a plan using a program of his that spat out results with the intent of increasing my credit score and decreasing the interest rate. So, for example, the program said do this, this, and that and pay off this amount of money towards that and your credit score will be this and therefore your interest rate will be that. So not to confuse anyone, it goes like this. I will use fake numbers intentionally. Your credit score is 200. Pay $500.00 towards your American Express credit card and your credit score will be 250. That is the gist of it. So we developed this plan. I took action, held up my end of the bargain, and the program had worked. Flawlessly. In fact, my score increased more than what was expected. Therefore, the rate I was told that I was now receive because I held up my end of the bargain was 4.5%. I called into the office and Marc was out. Granted, this was 2-3 days before closing. I spoke to his assistant, Deborah (who by the way is the most amazing person in that office) and she ran my credit again to ensure my score was where it needed to be. It was. She called Marc to confirm the new rate and when she called me back, it wasn't the rate he had told me. In fact, it was a solid 4.875%. Weird. When I called Marc to confront him, he threw me around the loop for a bit until I made it clear that I wanted an answer. I got that answer. "Well, it is what it is. But hey, we close tomorrow. We made it!" I am paraphrasing, as this conversation took place over a month ago. I don't understand why I was lied to. I would have been more than willing to pay the full 5%. The fact is, he quoted me those numbers in the beginning and then, when the rates were locked in and I held up my end of the bargain, they/he did not hold up his end. I hear their advertisements on the radio all the time. Proclaiming to be pro-Military, et cetera. My experience was quite the opposite. I do not have a great sphere of influence, however I will never encourage any of my subordinates, or anyone else that I work with to go with this company. Plain and simple. A man's word is his bond and a company with no integrity is disgusting. If you read through the whole thing, I thank you. If I pushed you away from this company, you made the right choice. Because they do not have a main company profile on Google, I will be posting this same post for their other locations.

We had a difficult mortgage application and hoped they would be able to help but I found it difficult to get anywhere with them. I would call and only get voicemail but never get a call back. When I did hear back from Stacy (after emailing several times) she told me she was trying to get us approved for $250k. I told her 200 would be more than enough and she said ok. Weeks went by again without us being asked for more info. I started trying to follow up again and was told what documents we would need but not to send them in yet. I started sending in some of it anyway, because it was taking so long but never got a final list or told to send it. I started calling/emailing again trying to find out what was going on. It had been over a month and interest rates went up while I was waiting for a response. I was finally set up with an appointment with Guiseppe to find out the final details of our loan guarantee. He apologized for the "miscommunication" about what needed to be sent in and said he would follow-up on the lack of responses. He gave us a rate and said we would get 150 for sure and he would prob be able to get 180. We started working with a realtor, looking in that range but I was still nervous that we didn't have their written guarantee so I emailed asking for it again (so I could give it to our realtor as well). When we got the approval letter it was for $135, not 150 but our payment was set to be the same. I appreciate that they tried to help us with our situation when no one else would, but it took nearly 2 months to get the final letter, and over a month just to talk to the loan officer rather than his assistant. That combined with the change in the approval amount after we were told he was being cautious with the 150 made the experience horrible. We won't be using them to finalize our loan.
