Not deserve even 1 star, every time had bad experience with this branch, i went to deposit cheque & they want to put on hold for 5 days, but i couldn't understand why they want to put cheque on hold when the cheque is itself from another rbc account. first of all that cheque was from my brother who gave it to me which i was 100% sure that funds are available although i understand bank has nothing to do with that if its from my brother, But technically they can verify the funds easily as that cheque was also from another rbc client account. if it was from different bank then i can understand that they cannot verify the funds. I went to branch manager & he told me i can get certify the cheque & pay $40 approx.why would i pay $40 to get certify when i know this cheque is leged & guaranteed it won't bounce back. So i didn't deposit to this branch & went to another branch to deposit the cheque. Guess what they deposit my cheque & funds was available right way. I wanted funds to be available rightly so i can pay off my line of credit. why would they put my cheque on hold and i have to pay interest of my line of credit while cheque is on hold. This is not the first time i experienced this branch, went for couple of reasons & every time staff is extremely rude & not helpful. i have rbc business account & forgot my deposit slip & want to deposit cash so my cheque can go through which i gave it to my client. teller won't accept cash without deposit slips & told me deposit in atm, well if i deposit in atm that funds will go on hold for 24 hours, by the time my cheque would bounce back. so i went to another branch & they accepted cash without deposit slip. (Another branch is far thats why i preferred to go queen & chingacousy branch) Honestly Rbc need to change staff or give them training again how to treat clients. i have everything with Rbc, like mortgages, secured line of credit, insurances, credit cards, personnel accounts, business account. Since i opened my accounts with rbc in 2010, not even my one cheque is bounce back where i can say i lost their trust. But still they don't consider my relationship. It really bothers me that they put their own Rbc cheques on hold & i have to pay interest charges meanwhile. I won't go again in this branch.

Idk if this is the exact branch that did me dirty but ya'll bout to face my lyrical wrath nonetheless. Since I was a young boy living in one of the many war torn buildings of Bosnia, I always dreamed of owning my own home. I would often day dream of using an actual door to walk into my house instead of going through the massive hole on the side of my building. Life was hard back then, but eventually I found my way here to Canada. I remember upon stepping out of the airport and being greeted by an RBC representative. He assured me that when the time comes and I decide to get a mortgage on a house, him and his brethren would take care of me and make no attempt to swindle me. Fast forward to a few months ago, and all my hard work finally paid off when I got my mortgage approved and I set foot inside my house. I shed tears upon seeing the structurally sound house with no holes in the walls that could result in a structural collapse eventually. I looked out the window and there were no corn fields or sheep headers in sight. I knew I finally made it as far away from my old life as possible. Everything was good until my second mortgage payment when you took out a payment that I already payed for, leaving my poor chequing account struggling for dear life. I thought back to the RBC representative I met at the airport and pictured him laughing as he walked away from me, knowing he'd set me down a path of treachery and betrayal. Praise the lawd himself that I didn't need to bail any of the homies out during that week, cause word to my financial woes, that is a rare week. As was inscribed onto Moses' stone tablets "Thou must be wary of the devils deception that dwells in thine local RBC branch"

I met with the guys from CMS and they were able to answer all my mortgage questions. I found them to be very knowledgeable and honest. They were able to guide me and provide great support through the whole process. I am grateful for all their help in making it possible for me to obtain my first mortgage. worst customer service experience, holy cow. manager is super rude.

i went to the restaurant for dinner yesterday night with my family and a guest from India ....I had a really bad experience at the restaurant..... first no one attended us after we were seated for a good 10 mins and we had to call the server for service then the vegetarian Platter that we ordered was so plain had nothing special in that and the non veg appetizer came late then we ordered really well done chappaties and what came were like half cooked we told the server to replace the chappaties and we kept on waiting for 20 mins for the replacement but eventually had to ask for the bill and came back without eating the food ...........on top of everything the restaurant charged for everything that we ordered they didn't consider that the customer was going back without eating the food they were least bothered with the whole incident.............I will never go back to then restaurant as i feel insulted and was a waste of my money and time going there

Carlos straight up gave us the best mortgage rates. He also walked us through the whole purchasing process and answered all of our questions. But the main reason we decided to get the mortgage from Carlos was because we needed very quick responses to our questions as each of the houses we went after, there were multiple bidders and any hesitation meant we would lose the house. We would sometimes send Carlos emails after hours, expecting a response the next day but we were always pleasantly surprised when he responded the same evening. We were also pursuing a mortgage at the banks and although they also provided good service, they don’t respond outside of business hours.
