Optometrist

Dr. Heimdahl is by far the best optometrist I have ever met. Last Sunday, while doing my assignment, I started seeing floaters in my right eye as well as there was a slight pain. The next day, I was in Maple Ridge and decided to drop by the BC Eye Care WITHOUT having an appointment. Upon entering the store, Dr. Heimdahl was at the front desk, talking to another of his patient. I told him what was going on and even though he was really busy that day, he still made time to check my eye. It turned out that I had a torn retina in my right eye. Dr. Hiemdahl quickly got me a same day appointment to a retina specialist and I underwent surgery. The specialist mentioned that if the tearing had not been caught on time, it could have led to a detachment where I could have lost my vision. Dr. Hiemdahl even called me after my surgery to see how I was doing. He is a phenomenal doctor. Would definitely recommend him.

I saw Dr.Satinder Bains, who told me if the glasses he recommended didn't work for me I didn't have to keep them. When they didn't work for me, no hassles, full refund. I've been a patient here for some time and highly recommend this eye doctor.

Dr. Mark Hamilton is AMAZING! I have had trouble getting glasses that correct all of the issues I have with my eyes. Dr. Hamilton was the first doctor in over 40 years to properly diagnose my issues and provide me with a working solution! For 40 years I struggled to wear my glasses/contacts and now I won't go anywhere or do anything without them. He has made a huge difference in my life and well being. Not to mention the fact he is personable and patient. The staff at Highland Vision Clinic is awesome as well. Highly recommend!

I love this place! I got an exam and a $500 pair of Balenciagas for $375. Vinny corrected an overstated prescription by another optometrist that made me go cross eyed 😵 Largest selection of frames I have seen in a shop. I’m really picky so this matters.

Dr. Hua is the best optometrist!! She is very gentle during the eye exam and made me feel super comfortable. She also made several awesome recommendations to me, specifically customized to me. Would recommend Dr. Hua to anyone!

My husband and I have been patients for 10+ years. We find Dr. Kinney to be professional with knowledge of the newest technology. She and her office staff are the best: caring and yet professional. Appointments are always on time with no waiting in little rooms to "see the doctor". Great downtown location, near all sorts of great shops and restaurants and plenty of parking lots nearby.

Dr Monterola did an expert exam; all the staff are friendly and helpful. I had my varilux glasses made in house; cost me more than using my insurance, but worth getting an accurate prescription. My two best set of glasses that I've had made in seattle have been made here. Highly recommend!

I have always had excellent service from Iris. The staff is friendly and and helpful. Dr. Jiwani is very kind and explains everything fully. Lisa, the Manager is so helpful with choosing the right frames and lenses. Everyone I dealt with in this location was great.

It was a very pleasant experience during my recent visit to Dr. Anita Kanwal's office. She took her time to do a very thorough eye exam. This was a very high tech exam and the Lens R Us glasses shop had a great selection of brands for me to pick my new glasses from. I will be back.
