One of the best Chinese food places in Ottawa. Excellent food, fantastic eggrolls and fast friendly service are the hallmarks of this family run business, and the atmosphere is attractive and cosy. If you are lucky, the semi retired original owner, Mr Wong will be there and happy to chat before or after your meal. We've been going there for special occasion and celebration meals since shortly after the place opened in 1977.

I was born and raised in Ottawa and now I'm a long haul trucker who has been to many Chinese restaurants even in NYC and you will NOT find better egg rolls anywhere. Anywhere I've been I found the best Chinese restaurants the city had to offer from the locals I dealt with, so I didn't just order from a hole in a wall take out only restaurant that has all the same food from the same supplier. Also this is a Cantonese restaurant so keep that in mind when ordering

Accommodates vegans! Went for brunch one Sunday morning in the fall of 2017 and they didn't have any vegan options on the menu. I asked the waitress if they could do something vegan and was given an epic plate of fruits and hash browns galore, instagram-worthy and impressive enough that my omni friends wished they had ordered the same as me. When I thanked them for accommodating my request, they simply said, "you gotta eat, we're not going to leave you hungry." Non-judgmental and super nice to boot, well worth the visit.

Chicken skin was rubbery and undercooked. Surprising, since chicken is their specialty. The place was clean but very crowded, small booths and close together. The salad bar (which costs extra) is very small and runs out quickly. We won't be returning.

An amazing place for brunch (best in the Ottawa area in my opinion). Very unique, flavourful dishes. However, the last time I came, I noticed that the prices have increased (e.g. $18 for huevos rancheros, a vegetarian dish). LOVE THIS PLACE, but unfortunately can’t come back as often anymore as I can’t justify paying that much for brunch food.

It's official, the best steak tartare we have had in our lives (we have one once a week) this the highest compliment!). Salmon Tartare was mouth watering as well. Oysters were incredible with the most divine sauces. We also had the Beef short rib, which followed the trend of delicious food. A great bottle of wine from Greece, 5 or 6 cocktails and it was a good night (i think, little blurry). Amazing 5* meal. Apparently Tartare is 50% off on Thursday's, can't wait for that! Our server was friendly, and extremely helpful.

Awesome fast service! Great food! The waiters are always polite and efficient. The wait is never long. We have a great experience every time we come. In a good location too, close to the busy street so u can come in for a quick meal.

This place was an amazing place to go for a nice, comfortable, laid back dinner. I went with family to celebrate my 18th birthday. The staff there are also very friendly, Jeremy, our waiter was very nice, helpful, and prompt with his service. It cost us $90 for two people after two large pasta dishes, two alcoholic dinner drinks, two alcoholic coffees, and two desserts. If I ever find myself in Quebec again I will defiantly be visiting again.
Also don't worry if you can't speak a lick of French, the staff are bilingual :)

These folks put on a great lunch time buffet. A great place to go for a work event or special occasion. Table settings, decor and service befitting a special occasion but the buffet format means everyone gets what they want quickly and you can be back on the job, stuffed full of great food, before the boss even notices.
