El Patio is a restaurant that is from the La Casita family on Fremont Boulevard. I use to go to this restaurant when it was just a tiny hole in the wall in Glen Park neighborhood. It is still delicious as it was back then. I always get the shredded beef taco, and the chicken & rice soup is soooo yummy. The chips aren't as good as they use to be but the margaritas sure are! Going on the weekends is super duper crowded, but if you go in the middle of the day, you won't have to wait at all.

Really great place to eat. Food is awesome, only draw back is it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I noticed homeless using their restroom to clean up and I think that's very awesome of them to be so understanding....ill go back again most definitely 👍

Great hidden secret that is worth the discovery! The owners are very sweet, quick, and helpful. The place is always clean and service speedy. We love to hit the lunch special on Bento boxes..what an amazing deal!! The environment is entertaining with the fish aquariums and likeable decor. One of our favorite places!

Unbelievably good! After an early evening hike in Henry Cowell Redwood State Park we were "starving". We saw the Empire Grill and figured: sure, basic family fare will do the trick.
After having been waited on by wonderful dining room staff, we were floored by the superb food. Not just well prepared simple food, but the kind of food that you get from an experienced chef team that has trained at the highest level and adds deep flavor and subtle nuance to their creations.
We both had the special, and that moniker fit the whole experience.
We were vacationing from New Hampshire, and just might return some day to experience this diamond in the rough again.
Hopefully by that time they are still there, and not off to the big city to earn the big bucks they deserve.

This place is truly unique. The nearly entirely house-made selection of foods is always good at minimum and often great. The take-and-bake pizza is outstanding, particularly the Luau (hawaiian). The wine selection is unbelievable for it's size. If you want sincerely friendly and knowledgeable guidance on a wine to select, watch the owner's eyes light up a little when you ask for his opinion. There are often special dinner events a couple nights a week and if the weather is nice a number of tables sit outside under the trees alongside a traditional earthen bocci ball court. The address here indicates Los Gatos, but actually the business is in the 'downtown' area of Redwood Estates, CA. Careful not to blink ... a small store, Nonno's deli, and diminuative post office are the only three establishments there.
