Sweet juicy berries. I always enjoy stopping by their farmstand for strawberry shortcake and hot cider or coffee when I'm north of Santa Cruz. 🍓

Solid 4 Santa Cruz level stars. Nice atmosphere, hip and classy without being pretentious. Came with high expectations for the food as Bantam has been the buzz locally for a while now. Packed as always with no reservations taken, waitstaff was overwhelmed even before the rush hit. Tried the fried chicken, margherita pizza and pork belly & noodles soup. Chicken was visually striking but the flavors were pedestrian. Pizza was solid, but there are better wood fired pizzas in Santa Cruz. The soup was the most interesting and had the most flavor, pork belly is always rich, the broth was also strong without being oily, and the greens & roots were a nice compliment, the noodles were the odd man out, overcooked and too thick and short for that kind of dish and really pointed out how unbalanced the dish as a whole was. If you dipped your spoon in you’d get some broth with either a chunk of the pork belly, a single noodle, or a turnip; such were the size of the ingredients that you wouldn’t really experience the dish as a whole. Cramped bar had a skilled bartender making drinks at a good pace, but again there are better bars nearby;so I can’t see anyone coming just to drink, especially at these prices. Come relaxed and willing to wait as the staff can’t keep up and you’ll have a good meal.

Humbling brunchy experience. Excusably dated, this quirky dinner resembles a blast from the past 50's style. Excellent service from a young chap with a sense of subtle charisma and charm. Underrated delicious vegan food, big hearty portions. I was gutted they ran out of ice cream for my root beer float, forgivable as I was full anyway.

Great Service and Vegan Options We visited Santa Cruz for a few hours and everyone was looking for a restaurant that was vegan-friendly. We made it to Splash and saw they had a Veggie burger that could be made vegan and some vegan appetizers. Our server Daniel was Awesome and we enjoyed the view of the Sea Lions and the sunset. Will definitely go back soon!

Dropped in randomly because hungry and in neighborhood and boy did we luck out. The chef here could be at any of the best fine dining establishments of SF or NYC. Delicious, creative, well presented.

The burger and onion rings were good and sized right, the atmosphere was really nice and the staff was friendly. I'd like to be able to give it 4.5 stars, because while being an all around good spot to grab a burger, nothing really stood out as spectacular. But, no half stars so I'm rounding up.

This is our go to place on the wharf for a quick fish and chips lunch. We always dine upstairs at the bar and find the portions to be big enough to share. Not outstanding fish and chips, but very good and reliably so.

Great local restaurant to enjoy really fresh fish dishes! I totally enjoyed my salmon encrusted in fresh crab meat, a little pricey but well worth every bite! Also good wine selection to boot. Staff are informed in describing menu choices. Eat Well!!

Visited this place several times in my most recent trip to Santa Cruz. It's a real staple. The food is good but can be pricey, depending on time of day, and on which menu you order from. They do have some special offers at different times so worth contacting them to find out more. Previously I had never known it to be a breakfast place, but on my recent trip, I went a few times, and it was super tasty. Love the salad bar too. The staff are friendly and helpfu, and the scenery is stellar. I will definitely be going again on my next trip "home". I definitely recommend it.

5 stars in Santa Cruz, 4+ stars for SF, BERK, or OAK. Ate there 6 weeks ago, I eat out a lot so don't really remember the meal except I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Next trip down there I will definitely return.

The food they put out usually tastes great, but almost every time I come here it is packed and I usually end up waiting between 25-50minutes in the drive thru. The workers always look stressed out and there doesn't seem to be anyone in charge trying to speed up or fix the problem.

Havent been since being a kid in the 80s. Brought back so many memories. Staff was very nice & good was good for corndogs & hotdogs.
