This one is done. Wondering when it's about to close. 4 tables full on saturday night. Food was 3.5 stars. Place was leaking water from ceiling at 5 different places. Men's room was dripping with water, this place has so much deferred maintenance .
It used to be the best hole-in-the-wall place in south bay for a couple of years in early 2010. The quality just went down down down.
I think the cheap indian food segment is just dying and so is the expensive indian food segment. The flavors, the crowd pleasers are all long gone. It probably has to do with the cost of living, all the best chefs have moved to cheaper cities .
Only time will tell of there is a resurgence of delicious indian food in the bay area. And when it does I hope the crowds are there to make them feel welcome.

Very modest, cheap Mexican food. Everything here has a unique taste you will not find at other Meican food establishments. The quesidillas is uniquely great. They burn cheese on the outside to give it a strong wholesome flavor! It is a must try. Overall, solid value.

The best damn Katsu I had in the entire bay area. Ordering has a fresh new take with an iPad. Also prices include gratuity so no need to tip. If you factor that, it’s quite reasonable pricing. Portions run on the small side for the average American appetite, which probably means generous portions in Japanese terms for this quite authentic restaurant from Japan. I kid you not I finished my entree in under 10 minutes and was still hungry. But still 5/5 stars because the food is just so tasty.

Probably the best overall Teppan style dining. Food is always fresh and cooked well. They also cater towards those with food allergies really well. Our last visit, we had multiple food allergies present (shellfish, celiac/gluten, egg) and the chef was able to keep everything separate to keep everyone happy and healthy.

Delicious food, but more than that, wonderfully kind people working at the restaurant. They even celebrated my daughter’s birthday by giving us an ice cream. We live in a fast paced and harsh world, it was simply awesome to meet some genuinely happy and relaxed people at this restaurant. Kudos!!

OMG the lobster roll! Best I’ve ever had! So much sweet lobster piled on top of a really good bun. Toasted to perfection. Oysters were also great! Plump and juicy from Vancouver. The shrimp ceviche was a huge serving.
