Do not eat there the food was terrible ,it was so greasy and rice was dry the chicken was so hard to eat not impressed

I love the food, but the lady who is at the front counter is extremely rude each and every time. I ask for ketchup and she says there's already too much in the bag. So 2 ketchup is already too much? Then I am in the middle of making my order, and she keeps interrupting me. I say no pickle, no onion, she says to me you should of told me that before you made your order. Just makes no sense why these type of people are in these positions. I'm not talking race either, i'm talking people who hate their job so much they are incredibly rude to each and every customer they serve?

Best Subway downtown. Go nowhere else 😊

Quick, good service and good food

As soon as I heard that OEB opened in downtown, I jumped in for a big hearty breakfast only to be matched with over 50 people waiting outside of the restaurant to get a seat. We placed our names down, willing to wait for 1 hour and went out for some dim sum appetizers. Once we got in, i was blessed to get a seat at the egg shaped table. I ordered Gold Digga with addtional avocado, and mushrooms with a side of coffee. It was a heavenly experience with diner music running in the background. The food was amazing, tasty potatoes, soft texture of the egg well made. I love cracking the yolk and mixing it with the potato to give the extra dimension of texture and flavor. The unlimited coffee was also amazing and freshly brewed, i had 3 cups of it and wanted more but my stomach says "i am drowning". The bill came out too strong for me but it was as expected since i ordered extra avocado and mushrooms. Please come in if you are really hungry as it was too heavy for me. Overall, I must go back to try out other menu items.

The place is nice and busy, the food is okay and can be better. Service is good, specially the bartender (Darwin) is awesome and respectful, he was friendly and gives you best service ! Earls are lucky to have him. Also, the manager on duty was very nice and she was friendly.

Food taste like other McDonalds. The area is not that safe. A lot of scary people hang out in this place. This is a busy place and customer service is not up to standards

Absolutely superb experience. Best meal we have had in years. Jennifer went above and beyond. The trout was outstanding and all the dishes had depth of flavour.

I love coming here for lunch. Great place to get a fast meal, especially if you come around 11:30am.

Not great service. They try to shuffle you along a little too much.

Not impressed with this place at all, poor service and management. When we first arrived, the hostess was talking to us trying to find our table reservation in the computer. When out of nowhere the manager showed up and rudely interrupted her asking her a question. He didn’t seem to be happy with her answer. Then one of the employees showed up late and he called her out on it in front of us. Wow how unprofessional! It took forever to get our drink order and our server seemed like it was his first day on the job (He was very nice though). Food was ok, definitely had better. One good thing is their drinks are very good! There are WAY more good downtown restaurants to visit than this place.

Honestly I have never had a bad experience here. The service can be a little slow during the week around 5pm but that’s because the place is usually packed. My fav joeys to come to in the summer, love the patio and a perfect place for drinks. Good atmosphere, semi casual but still feels classy.

Be prepared to eat. Amazing food and service. Definitely worth the price. Excellent cuts of meat with fantastic flavor. Also, must try the coffee; the best Americano I've ever had in Calgary.

Been there yesterday, while the rest of stephen avenue was blowing up with events in other pubs. Nice casual place, took a little bit for the staff to get to us, but honestly not their fault. The staff was friendly and laid back, there werent a lot of people that night and the pub was just a nice place to chill. Drinks are well-priced (and they have a solid selection of them, not just beer), i have yet to try the food. If youre looking for a quiet place to chill with a drink, id definitely recommend James Joyce
