Roofing

He installed the roof on our house before we bought it. A problem arose so I called him 2 years ago, he came by told me he could fix it and that he would be back in the next few weeks (Sept/27/2012). Never came. In the spring of 2013, it was too early and too cold. Since then I have been sending him emails almost monthly (during the summer) but he ignores them. I'd go somewhere else but then I would be invalidating my warranty.  :-(

RD Elliott provides the best roof they possibly can at a reasonable price, When you are in need of a qualified & experienced contractor make sure to call RD Elliott & Sons

They were prompt, did a great job in the exact time that they said. They also came back the next day to fix a small flashing problem. I would definitely recommend and will call them again in 25 years or so when I need a new roof again.

Avoid this roofer. It costs less than other roofers but the quality of the work is poor. After they re-roofed my house in 2015, my garage started to leak when it rained. I called Steven (the owner of the company), he just quickly did some chucking. But it leaked again during the next rain. I called Steven again, then he started to blame my eavestrough that water couldn't get through quickly. I didn't believe my eavestrough was the problem because it had been working well before the re-roof. But steven insisted he couldn't find anything wrong with the new roof. Then from time to time, the roof leaked when it rained. Finally, I called up another roofer for a second opinion, this roofer immediately pointed to me that the flashing was installed poorly with a lot of gaps and holes in the connection. He helped me to re-seal all the flashing and the leaking problem was resolved. But I had to pay $450 for the poor work that Magnum roofing left to me. I was very disappointed and frustrated with this roofing company. Avoid Magnum roofing if you don't want to have a leaking roof,no matter how cheap they could done the work for you.

The most experienced roofers in Ottawa. On time, on budget, clean up after the job is done.

happy with the services supplied now!

When it came time for us to do our roof, we researched all of our options and after talking with Robert at Mr. Roofer Inc., They gave us tons of options, and felt that a stone coated steel roof was the best investment for us! The installation went very smooth, and absolutely zero complaints. We are so happy with our new roof and will forever recommend Mr. Roofer Inc. to anyone that never wants to worry about their roof again!

A hard to believe piece of work a terrible roofing. shingle not aligned, big piece here, small there.... without any esthetic. I complain. they send me the "chief" inspector... the guy who did the job. No supervisor came to see the roof. One man came 8 days later to clean all the junk they had left in front of my home, bottles, cans. I found junk from Tim Horton in the bushes, coffee cup, plastic chocolate cup, around the house and a pile of shingle on my parking. I send pictures of the roof to the company. They never reply.

Abbot Roofing (Vexillum Inc.) replaced our roof this summer and we had a very positive experience working with them. Our home inspector recommended Abbot to us, but we did our research as well. Besides the excellent reviews on HomeStars, BBB and Google, Abbot was mentioned a couple of times in a forum thread discussing reliable local roofing contractors. Kurtis (the company’s President) responded promptly to all our enquiry emails and showed great patience to our layman’s questions. Because our interior renovation was running late, we had to postpone the start date of the roofing project to the middle of July, which is the busiest time of the year for most roofing companies. Actually we were prepared for a one or two weeks delay, but their crews appeared on the day we had scheduled and completed the work efficiently. We were also very happy with the clean work site. Professional communication, reasonable price, and outstanding services _ we have no hesitation to use Abbott Roofing again and to recommend it to friends and family.

Awesome communication, and extremely honest, honourable people !!

Great service.

Unsafe vehicles, aggressive driving, substandard work and huge delays for warranty checks. Negative reviews earn the ire of the owner claiming they've never heard of you (because facilities managers don't sign the contracts but do the follow up). Steer clear.

I was very impressed with the whole process from start to finish. Titans Roof Works have an excellent crew who are very personable and skilled. The roofers did a quality job and it looks awesome. Thanks guys!
