Affordable, convenient. Right in the middle of a pleasant town in mountains. 1 hour to two more advanced (and more costly) skiing resorts: Castle Mtn and Fernie Mtn.

Very friendly staff who make a point of getting to know you. If you have a mechanical issue on a busy weekend, they will make a heroic effort to get the repair done in time to salvage some riding before you leave town.

Expensive prices and horrible customer service. I paid for two days and after I injured myself on the first day, they wouldn’t refund the second day. $55 per day for basic skis and poles (no boots) is also very high for off-mountain. There doesn’t seem to be any advantage to renting here instead of the mountain.

I've skied in many places in Europe before coming here. But I must say that Canada is very different. The quality of the slopes, the amount of snow, the amount of groomed and ungroomed slopes, it's just plain awesome. The lift system is old and a bit worn and the prices are comparably high, but you do feel very exclusive skiing here. I would not say that it's very kid friendly, but they do have designated areas for kids. Parking is free and close to the slopes. Lift cards are about $100 a day. Ski rentals are about $50-65 a day with boots and helmet. I recommend this skiing resort!

As a west coast regular, I enjoy the power dry snow conditions here. The Rocky Mountain aesthetic is stunning. It’s a great family resort with some good fun options for experienced skiers. I would consider this place a “fun” resort. Come for the ease of it as opposed to the terrain.

We hired a snowboard and two pairs of crampons. Their policy is that you only pay for what you use, which is fantastic, it meant that we didn't have to keep going back and forth to hire shops. The staff are really helpful and full of local information. They are open really early too, which means that you can hire and still catch the first lift in Lake Louise or Sunshine Village.
