Just wanted to say that Prince Edward County Vet services were absolutely fantastic. Being from out of province they saw my dog right away for heat rash. Staff were kind and friendly. Dr Steven James is a kind and excellent vet. As well as being a genuine compassionate man. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Brad and Doug the golden retriever ❤️

I have been bringing my animals to Brighton animal Hosp for over 12 plus years. Dr. Miner and Dr. Foley are who we normally see but they all are excellent. I couldn't ask for better care for my three animals.

Absolutely phenomenal ... Finally a place that matches the same values and love we give our four legged kids!
Called the clinic while i wasn't even their patient at the time, Dr. Ghobrial was my first point of contact. Since that first call to the clinic i received very professional and detail oriented care, which is why I still have my pooch till now!
After listening very carefully to what i was saying, Dr. Ghobrial advised me to bring her in. They were outstandingly well prepared for our arrival knowing the situation and its severity...took amazing care of my pooch since we opened the door... all day long till they closed and next day since they opened we were there till i decided to go with the surgical procedure...both Dr. Ghobrial and Dr. Aziz went more than the extra mile to ensure my baby was taken care of from every angle and that I, as an owner, was very well informed and aware of what was going on (something most vets dont care about when speaking big medical words and we are lost in between the linguistic)
They give you the bare truth..no surprises
Dr. Ghobrial and Dr. Aziz performed a 3 hours surgery on my baby without giving up ...but our vet-patient care didnt end there...everyday they call to check up on how she's doing...explaining to me what to expect and what not!
Very affordable plans (as a life long dog owner I have never seen any plan that was so inclusive and yet affordable)...and the service you get is way too good, way to professional ...I finally found two extraordinary well educated, non greedy and amazing vets!
Thank you for all your care and efforts that allowed me to still have my pooch with me today safe and sound.

We have a special needs long hair cat who can’t groom himself. For several years we’d taken him to Bay City to be groomed under anesthetic.
A few days ago my husband brought our cat in for grooming.
Before they even admitted our cat there was a $600 bill that had been prepared. My husband noticed bloodwork had been added to the bill. My husband said we were not looking for any tests. Our cat was not sick.
They adjusted the bill, but didn’t give the copy to my husband. So he figured the bill would now be inline with past years.
When my husband went to pick him up, the bill was almost triple their usual bill. If he’s not getting needles we are charged about $120 for grooming and sedation. This time it was over $300.
We get a lion cut for our cat. Past bills charged for 15 minutes of grooming. This time they charged us for 45 minutes. They gave him a bath and blow dry! We didn’t ask nor want either. No one asked our permission. He’s been going there over six years and this was the first time anyone did this to him.
We were charged a wellness visit of almost $100. We were not told that this was going to be part of their fees.
After we specifically said we didn’t want blood work (our cat is not sick!) they TOOK HIS BLOOD.
How can a vet take blood from our pet and go against our wishes?
All we wanted was to have him groomed. Like they’ve always done for him.
When we questioned these charges, the man at the front said the vet wasn’t a groomer and they were doing us an extra service.
Wonder if the other clients who come in for pet grooming know that this is how we are looked upon?
Well this vet won’t be doing us any extra services any more. We have found elsewhere to buy our cat food, and another vet who will do our grooming.
****Edited to change from one star to three stars***
I had a lovely call from Bay Cities' office manager (Kathryn). She was very interested in hearing our story, and offering a number of solutions on how they could do better. She was helpful, kind and gracious.
And she apologized. That meant a lot to me.
Because of this very healing conversation I am revising the rating to a three star. Thank you again to Kathryn for trying to repair the situation.

Saved me money on unnecessary dental surgery another vet recommended. As reviews show, he cares about the comfort of all pets brought into his office, and he was as gentle with my cat as possible when administering his rabies vaccination, and other visual examination. I came just to find the cheapest place to get a rabies vaccination for a dental surgery another vet recommended, and this turned out to be a "second opinion" situation: he said the tooth is fine. Update, however: the tooth is now broken and will require surgery, but that's because of dry food (that's also making him obese), and I'm now moving to wet cat food. Main thing: he rejected making an easy few hundred bucks out of personal ethics, and that's the sign of a good vet.
