The experience from the moment you step in the door is great. The vet technicians know both my dogs by name and are so great with them. Both vets are extremely personable and caring. They do not push unnecessary tests and are very accurate with costs of everything. I could not be happier!!! My family has been going here for nearly 10 years.

I have been coming here for years with all my pets, and today I was the dreaded "walk-in with no appointment" with my ailing kitty. Thanks so much to entire team for fitting her in and taking such good care of her, and to the Vet I had not had the pleasure of meeting before!

Dr D'Amico and staff took great care of all of our dog's needs. We didn't feel rushed and she explained everything in detail. I highly recommend this clinic.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing this clinic is after the nightmare I had to deal with at another emergency vet clinic.
The doctors at this clinic are caring and thorough with their examinations. I felt they genuinely cared about the well being of my cat when he was there. I was given options to how to proceed with treatments, the pros and cons of each option and I never felt pressured to do anything I wasn't uncomfortable with. At no point did I feel like they were ordering tests that were unnecessary as a cash grab.
My experience with this clinic was absolutely wonderful.

For almost 11 years Dr Boston was like part of my family. He started seeing my service dog when he was only 4 months old, after another vet kept ignoring the poor dogs ear mites. Over the next 11 years many visits were had as well as consult phone calls. He guides us through some serious health issues and injuries. And the best was that at the end we could say goodbye to our baby in our own house. He was always compassionate and helpful, and he didn’t recommend things which would be of no use except to line his wallet.
In a few weeks I will be welcoming a new service dog to my home and I keep my fingers crossed that Dr Boston is still practicing.

Staff were not able to retrieve a simple blood sample from my cat over a 45 minute window. They shaved parts of his neck, as well as his hind leg and continued to jab him until my husband had to step in and ask them to stop. At no point did they try to provide him hydration, as his current veterinarian has pointed out would has assisted. After accomplishing NOTHING, they offered a one day sample of a medication for him to try, then invoiced me $15 for the one pill. The total visit, which didn't accomplish ANYTHING was $300 that my husband paid while I took my cat to the car. After looking over bill at home and contacting the vet about the price of the medication "sample", they explained that even though they promoted it as a sample, there is in fact a dispensing fee, and had we have purchased a prescription, the cost would have been around $0.15 a pill!
Please do not visit this vet clinic! They will take your money even when they cannot provide the services invoiced. There are many other clinics within Durham Region, and I would rather drive an extra 5 minutes so my cat can receive proper care than ever step foot back into that office!

Dr. Dhaliwal and Dr. Hurd are both really nice to deal with. The clinic is clean and well run and you can tell that the staff and vet techs all really love animals. Normally my dog is a basket case as the vets, but he was really calm with Dr. Dhaliwal.

Never again. Had issue and called. Lovely person on phone, understanding and kind. When I got there, however, the people were not truthful, not helpful, and not caring even when faced with an animal crying in pain. Never, ever, ever will I go back or recommend.
King Hopkins Pet Hospital

Thank you so much king Hopkins pet hospital for all the love, support and respect that you have given to me and my pets. Recently we had to go through tough times with our little furry family member who was deteriorating fast over the weekend and we knew it's time to make hard decision. We took him to KHPH.
It was our first experience and we were very unfamiliar with the process. Front staff took the time to respect our privacy and made it a very smooth process for us. Vets were very attentive, they listen to us, gave us options. Did few tests, discussed the results and decided it's humane to euthanize at this point. We felt so much better after knowing what was wrong with our pet and said good bye with clear conscious and proper closure. Thank you very much King Hopkins pet hospital.
