The price is high, but I expect that at an emergency room. The people were increadibly compassionate. We brought in a stray having seizures and the receptionist grabbed the box and raced it back to the docs before even getting our name.. It was clear that saving her life was priority. In the end they weren't able to save her, but Michelle was very kind. I highly recommend them for emergencies.

The entire team at Atlantic Veterinary Hospital is incredibly thoughtful, and they’re all equally invested in the health and well-being of our pet. I want to specifically thank Dr. Restis, who has been our primary doctor for our puppy. She provides such thorough explanations in a way that’s easy for us to understand regarding our dog’s health, and she makes a point of outlining all possible treatment options. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital!

We LOVE EMWV! We have gone through so much with this vet, emergencies, normal wellness checkups, death, and trauma. Through everything they have been incredible. I could not ask for a more passionate vet and staff to take care of my dogs! They are always welcoming and kind. My dogs love them even after trauma, and emergency care. They listen to the owner and the pet. They pay attention to detail and don't just "squeeze" you in. I also love that the Doctor has practice in different medicines! Having different views is a great thing because it brings more options to the table! We just got a new puppy and to learn about what kind of "dog" he is is so neat. An Earth and Metal dog is a pretty cool dog if you ask me! I would highly recommend EMWV!

Very kind and professional

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They rushed our 3 month old puppy in who was having some sort of reaction to vaccines from another vet (that I've ben going to for years). The vet assistant was very detailed in getting all symptoms. The vet came in and completely checked him out and explained everything in clear detail so we understood fully what was going on...an allergic reaction as well as his diet. The front desk girl was extremely friendly too. Price wasn't too bad either. We are actually considering switching to this vet now. We had a great experience.

We have been cat owners for a little over 5 years and cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Marshall and staff. We are fortunate to have only needed normal services (including condo accommodations) but would trust Island Cats in any situation concerning Bugzy.

I've been taking my two dogs here for 10 years and have always had excellent service. My dogs have been seen by most of the doctors here. They know how to handle dogs and my dogs feel safe and never afraid. Very professional with good customer service. I can always get in when I need an appointment and never have to wait.

They are professional and caring

Our cat developed pancreatitis and required quick, aggressive intensive care and I do believe she got the best treatment possible here! The entire staff were friendly, sympathetic and very professional. Our girl got to come home after 2 days treatment and we are all happy again. This is a American Animal Hospital Assoc. member and their standards are the best! Highly recommended for your pets care.

These guys are great! My cat was sick and we had to make an emergency weekend visit to the vet. I hate the animal hospital and was relieved that McKenzie vet was both open and able to fit me in on a busy Saturday. Muffin can be very shy and hasn't had many vet experiences, but Dr Hockley was so good with him. He has made a full recovery and then some and we will most definitely be back for future checkups.

I was so skeptical at first boarding my 2 mastiffs but Esther and the staff there took exceptional care of them!! Thank you so much!!

My experience is very similar to John Wayne's who made a review here, after visiting this place with my bearded dragon and being very impressed with Dr lefavre, I decided to bring my dog in as well to get nuetered. Upon making the appointment I requested pre anesthetic blood work to ensure his safety while under anesthesia. After his blood work was taken I was told they would call me with results, I then tried to pay for the blood work and was told that it would be included with my total in the estimate for his nueter surgery. I told them I would like to get it done as soon as possible with the vet that had previously seen my bearded dragon. After days went by with no word I called and left a message requesting my estimate. I did not hear back so I called a few days later and was told that the vet wanted to perform another surgery simultaneously on his stomach to prevent bloat. "Ok " I said, "can I get an estimate?"... There was a long pause and the girl said the vet would call me...I told her my budget was around $500 and to let me know.... Fast forward a month and multiple calls from me and my husband later, finally a call back! ..i recieved a voicemail apologizing for their delay but because of this delay I need to pay for additional blood work......not my fault! Not only was my estimate within my budget ($550) but over a month later we need to run the blood work again. So another $90 ?? For a time delay on the part of your hospital? Needless to say I've attempted to work this out but as of today they are threatening to send me to collections over the blood work that I never received results for, nevermind I was not called back in a timely matter but they refused me proof of the blood work when I called in after receiving multiple harassing letters. Instead of offering to make this right or act on behalf of ethics they are more interested in getting a buck for services that they never provided. Avoid this place if you can, especially if you have an issue with liars. The office staff is not only unprofessional but this place is well known for their unethical behavior.

HP Vet Hospital has been my vet for over 10 years. They are always friendly, courteous and spend as much time with you as needed. Recently my dog had an emergency situation and I took him to the vet, although normally I would take him to the emergency clinic, they were able to take him in, treat him and do his routine checkup to boot. Great place, great doctors.

Kind, caring, observant, dedicated....talented. They are wonderful and I highly recommend them.

A year ago, or so, our cat decided to nosh on some Lily's my hubs got me (we didn't know they were poisonus for cats). We rushed her to the clinic here, where they treated her like family. They nursed her back to health, and went over the financial options with is, so we didn't go bankrupt over the vet bills. We have also found two incredibly sweet, yet extremely unhealthy, strays over the years and dropped them off at the clinic, where they nursed those guys back to health and transferred them to Bonnie L. Hays.
