I can't say enough good things about this business! I have two English Bulldogs and will never take them anywhere else. The vet and their staff are honest, up front and truly have the animals' best interested at heart.

I have been going to dr mehdi for 5-6 years He is number one and we continue vising him where ever he goes

This vet truly loves animals and takes the time to really talk to you and get to know your pet as an individual. Very friendly and knowledgeable receptionists too.

Dr. Honey and all the GVH staff are absolutely incredible to deal with. Their commitment to our pets is beyond amazing. Dr. Honey is so knowledgeable and I trust him whole heartily with all of our furry and feathered family members.

I would not consider taking my dog to any other vet in the corridor. Dr. Gruwal has always taken our emergency phone calls and responded accordingly.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. My pet loves to go to the place unlike the previous ones we use to take him. Thanks a ton to Dr Mangat .

If there was a -5 stars that's what I'd give. If you have the choice to take your animal ANYWHERE else, do it. Our story with DMAH started last year when our dog was at the end of his life and needed to be put down. It was the only place open and not too far from our house. We arrived and with 0 compassion told to sign forms. Then we were brought into an exam room, ran through the procedure and then was told that our dog was going to be taken into the back room to be shaved and put to sleep - then was going to be brought back in to get the final injection. My mom calmly told Dr.Brar that we did not want to leave him and would like to be with him every step of the way. He fought us and told us that it's standard for them do this and we should really just wait - and that he didn't want us to get too upset....we kept fighting. Eventually he allowed us to accompany our dog into the back where they shaved his leg and put him under, then this completely insensitive vet grabbed my poor dog, one hand grabbing the scruff of his neck and the other the skin on his back and picked him up off the table and plopped him down into position. We were in TOTAL DISBELIEF. He handled our still living dog like a puppet. That's when we vowed never to go back. How ever we had to break that when our kitty got sick recently and it was the only place open. We walked in and we're again so so disappointed by the way we were handled. Dr.Brar talked over us during our initial exam and then quickly gave us a list of what he was going to do at a whopping price of $750. He sent off her specimens to the lab and did an X-ray and told us to come back in 24 hours. He didn't offer any suggestion of what could be wrong, after reading some reviews today I don't think he has much knowledge of cats at all... Side note : In march our cat got X-rays at another clinic and we got the results minutes later so our usual vet was perplexed as to why it would take 24 hours to get it back via Dr.Brar....especially since my kitty was so severely unwell.....unless he said the Dr.Brar may not know know how to read them and has to send them to a lab to be read. WHAT VET CANT READ AN ANIMAL XRAY?! Avoid, avoid, avoid, for the sake of your sweet animals take them anywhere but here.

Caring staff, lovely place, and reasonable pricing. Best veterinary hospital I've been to in Vancouver. Thank you to everyone there for making my dog and I feel comfortable =)

What a great office. They were so nice to our "scaredy cat" who happened to have an eye infection, and they even checked up on us multiple times after the appointment. Will return! :)

They Care about animals

Vet is far more interested in selling me stuff?! Took in a rescue for a check up, Dr Lahey did NOT do a thorough look since I had to take him back when I discovered a large wound under his nailbed. Round one of antibiotics did nothing, returned to have her prescribe lots more that I had to administer and wanted me to return repeatedly. Not exactly surprising since she spent more time staring at the tattoo on MY arm than she did checking out my new Rescue cat. I initially took her advice, but later realised she was simply pushing product; not helping me or my cat. She ultimately refused to finish his vaccinations and closed my file when I complained. Do NOT recommend them! Stay away...

Our dog had surgery on her lip done by Dr. Lepitre. We have nothing but good things to say, she did a fantastic job and it healed without any noticeable scars or complications. Thank you Highlands Animal Hospital.

WORST PLACE EVER!!! WE LEFT OUR DOG WITH THESE GUYS FOR A WEEK AND NOW WE WISHED WE NEVER DID! FIRST OF ALL, WHEN WE PICKED HER UP, THE TWO GIRLS/LADIES THAT WERE AT THE FRONT DESK HAD SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, IE. NO SMILE OR HELLO TO EVEN START OFF WITH. MY HUSBAND ASKED HOW OUR DOG DID AND ALL WE GOT WAS A ONE WORD ANSWER "GOOD". C'MON, I AM PRETTY SURE THEY CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT, ESPECIALLY HAVING HER WITH THEM FOR A WEEK, GEEZ! TONE WAS VERY HARSH AND LOOKED AT US AS IF WE WERE CRIMINALS. ANYWAY, WHEN OUR DOG WAS BROUGHT TO US, BELIEVE ME, SHE SMELT AS IF SHE HAD BEEN SLEEPING IN HER PEE THE ENTIRE WEEK. WHEN WE GOT HOME, SHE WAS PEEING BLOOD. WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH OUR VET FOR THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD THAT SHE HAS A URINARY INFECTION. JUST MADE US WONDER HOW CLEAN THIS FACILITY IS. OUR DOG NOW IS VERY EDGY AND NO MORE THE HAPPY, ACTIVE DOG SHE WAS WHEN WE LEFT. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG THERE BUT SHE IS NOT HERSELF FOR SURE.
