The skilled and caring Vets and staff have treated our pets with consideration and compassion. They have cared for 6 of our rescued dogs/cats who have/had significant medical issues as a result of being feral or from tragic circumstances of abuse and neglect. The Vets only recommend testing or treatment that is essential as they are conscious of cost and the impact on the family and other pets. The staff always remember our pets names and issues and treat them like they are their own, particularly those with anxiety. My daughter brings her dogs from Ottawa because she has not found any Vets there that compare with the Merrickville clinic.

Could not ask for a better team to take care of my animals! Great staff, always friendly, caring and professional. Would recommend them to anyone with pets they love as family. I can't say enough great things about this place. Thank you for being so wonderful!!!

Best cat vet in GP!

Dr Mc Dowell at Leaminton Animal Clinic took care of my Harly Bear. I live overseas and my mother takes care of my Pom, and I was terrified to have his teeth cleaned. However, he did a fantastic job and I cannot wait to come home in July to see the results!

This is probably the cleanest bet we've ever visited. We've been super happy with the entire staff. They have been taking care of our dog for a couple of months now. We also signed up for the pet plan, which has been great with our aging dog and the number of visits we have had already. Would highly recommend this location.

This is a great pharmacy that has an amazing staff that are knowledgeable, friendly, kind, easy to talk to & qualified... I would have given this pharmacy a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5 star) rating but 1 of their pharmacists, who is not the owner, isn't as friendly to all of their customer's or with the same kindness! People everywhere are different, have different lifestyles & come from different walks of life but that is not a reason for the unwarranted snarky interactions & judgemental glares that come from this pharmacist when having to deal with him.

I have had nothing but good experience here i love the dr and the staff they are really looking out for my baby stormy whom has a autoimmune disease i have been freaking out but not anymore knowing that shes in great care so thank you dr and staff

Don't make the same mistake I made by bringing my precious girl Sapphire there! Sapphire was seen the next morning after having a seizure. Dr. Wright claims she did a hands on examination on her, she never touched her, just sat on a stool and watched her walk around the room. We did have a pass due balance, but they day we paid for her blood work. I was lied to about her lab results, and she was treated for a UTI. Most of her labs were abnormal, but nothing was done. My precious baby suffered for 4 days, until she passed away. When I begged them to give me her lab results so I could take her somewhere else before it was to late, Marcia asked me, "why where do you plan on taking her?" Then I was denied getting them, I was told after I pay the past due. The next day I paid the past due, but when I got home, she was already gone! I was denied the chance to possibly get her really help before it was to late. I cry everyday for her. I watched her suffer 4 night holding her, while she cried!

I have been with this hospital for about 30 years. Ever since my first dog. Since then I have had another dog and 3 cats, all of them strays. The people who work here are wonderful, kind, compassionate and very good at their jobs. Their help when a loved pet needs to go on to a better place is a comfort during a difficult time. Your pet is in the best hands. You won't go wrong trusting in them.

A few months since I been there but these people were great. Cheap appointment. My cat was really rough with bad mange and worms(I left her with a relative to waych bad idea) gave her a round of shots and set up future appointment now my fat house Monster happy and healthy. Love this place.

Kindest, most caring, affectionate, and empathetic staff we have ever known. From basic checkups, prescriptions, vaccines, and dental care to the unfortunate end of a pets' life; they have been there for us. Everyone here knows your pets name and treats them like their own. We have moved from Eastpointe, but we will not be changing Vets.
