It was a good experience overall. When we arrived that evening, the front staff was able to confirm our parking spot was free and included with our hotel stay. However, when we were checking out, I brought up that I really liked how parking was free and included - and she used this against me by checking my license plate and then telling us that she will have to charge for the parking stall now. I was tried to clarify the situation with her and explained how we actually confirmed with the concierge just the night before that there was NO parking fee, and all she could say was "sorry, this is our company policy". She didn't even try to clarify with her supervisor whether or not there was miscommunication. She literally just kept repeating herself that it was company policy. Asides from the hidden charges of the parking stall, the room we stayed in was very nice - good views and very clean.

Sea to Sky Celebrations is one of the Premier wedding planners in the Whistler area. They are very professional and imaginative. All of their weddings are unique and amaze their clients. I enjoy working with their team as it is always well executed and organized, nothing is left to chance. If you want a perfect wedding then I highly recommend you contact Rachael and her team. You only get one shot at getting your wedding right. As a DJ I appreciate their dedication and attention to detail.

My favorite spot. Amazing hotel with everything you could ask for. It's not on the mountain but that's what gives it it's charm. Super quiet and relaxing. They do offer a shuttle and free bike use.

I play a lot of golf. I love this course for so many reasons but mostly for the view and the wildlife...golfers included. Great food served up by a friendly staff. The course was in great shape for so early in the season. 5 stars !

The interpreters working here are great. Personable, passionate, knowledgeable and entertaining. The restaurant serves authentic indigenous foods and the gift shop sells authentic indigenous goods.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Tara and Steve for our engagement photos and wedding day photos in 2012 and 2013, and are so grateful for the beautiful images they captured of that special time. They are super easy to work with, make you feel relaxed in front of the camera, are creatively brilliant, and lots of fun too! They captured so many awesome candid moments from our wedding, which we are so happy to now have as memories. We got married in January, and when we suggested doing a few photos outside I thought they would hesitate because it was so cold. But instead, their eyes lit up and I knew they were thinking of unique ideas for photos to capture outside. They took us on the streetcar, got some shots of us walking down the street, in a local bakery, and on the grounds of our venue in the snow. They were totally game to have fun with us, get beautiful snowy photos, even with the cooler temperature. Many of our friends who attended our wedding were so impressed with seeing how Steve and Tara fit so seamlessly into our wedding day, that they went on to hire them to shoot their weddings too. Fast forward five years, and Steve was able to come photograph us with our new baby. She was pretty unhappy the whole time, as new babies can be, but Steve was super relaxed which made us relaxed, and we got these beautiful images of us together as a new family of three in our home. Steve perfectly captured the candid moments of our new life as parents and we are so so so grateful. My husband and I would, and have, wholeheartedly recommend Tara Lilly Photography. Erin and everyone we met with Bliss Bridal was beyond amazing! Being from the states and planning a destination wedding can be a daunting task, but Erin took care of everything! The flowers were beyond amazing and the decorations were incredible! We had our wedding at Nita Lake Lodge and she did it all! We would recommend Bliss Bridal to anyone, especially if you are planning from far away! She was also such a joy to work with and so easy going! Thank you again for everything!!

Kendra and Brad, where do we begin!? This duo was amazing from the very first interaction all the way to picking up our wedding photos today! You know how they say 'real recognizes real'? Well if you are looking for two extremely talented, genuine, kind and honest individuals to capture some of the most REAL moments in your life(all the while making you feel comfortable as you bare your most vulnerable selves)....then please look no further. They always went above and beyond to make us feel like we really had a say in everything, but they were also wise, and honest enough to offer their opinions and direction when we needed it. They really made both of feel comfortable and secure throughout everything, and have a very calming presence in general. There is no problem they can't handle. We can't even begin to tell you how hard they worked to make sure the pictures were going to be AMAZING despite some of the things they had to deal with (torrential downpours on a chicken farm?) But that's just the type of people they are - they are amazing at what they do - and they do it all. Our photos turned out beautiful and candid. I cried the first time I saw them as I was instantly taken back to the emotions that special day held. That's what they capture. They capture real people, having real moments with real emotion. They fit right in with all of our friends and family, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone we know. Words alone cannot express the gratitude we have for these two. Average hotel with pretentious management. The Good: Great coffee, large rooms, and a decent gym The Bad: Leaky faucets, terrible internet, useless management and tons of mosquitos. The hotel owners and management need to spent a little less time bragging about how wonderful they are and a little more time on customer experience.

Rob at Event Rental Works was easy to deal with and accommodating. Everything went smoothly on our wedding day and looked great!

A magical location surrounded by the beauty of the Pemberton valley. The lodge is amazing with modern finishing, comfortable beds and overall wonderful amenities. With so much space this would be an ideal location for a family gathering or a girls scrapbooking weekend! And the hosts are equally delightful - very friendly with lots of info about the surrounding area. Can't wait to return!

Stopped in to grab a lunch at Portobello. It was delicious. Costs were high, but not unreasonable for Whistler, and the servings were generous and the flavor fantastic. My kids loved the pulled pork, and one sandwich was enough for two, which made things very reasonable. And leave room for dessert, because that row of pastries is impossible to ignore.

For sure a must do excursion if in Whistler! We did bobsledding and had a blast. They take you through a quick safety course and then out to the track. Since we were the second group of the day we got to see a couple runs which gives you an appreciation of the speed. The ride was not comfortable in the sled but they warned us about that which made the experience even better.
