Played on many different courts in cities around Canada, I’m very proud to say Powell River now has some of the finest courts around. It’s very evident Igor and Albert are very committed to providing a great experience for everyone. There’s great practice equipment for use and I imagine it’ll only get better as time goes on. Great addition to this wonderful city

I cannot thank Teresa Neiman enough for helping me quit smoking. I honestly had serious doubts about it being this easy to quit. I have struggled with quitting smoking. I'd quit for three years and then somehow it would work its way back into my life again. Quitting wasn't always easy for me but I always associated quitting with doing some sort of challenge. Like a 30 day yoga challenge or my teacher training. I'm 38 and somehow someway smoking reemerged back into my life. I was disgusted and pretty disappointed with my self. I had by chance chatted with a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a while and she told me about Teresa and how she had smoked for 13 years. Teresa had treated her and two days later she smoked her last cigarette and never looked back. I called and booked an appointment with Teresa the next day. From my own personal experience I think you have to go in with an open mind and a desire to quit. I honestly though my experience would be just like my friends but it wasn't. I went back two times to get the studs put in my ears. The second time round I had two cigarettes and then straight up just stopped thinking about it and craving it. Don't get me wrong. There were times I wanted one but I wanted to quit so bad that the desire just wasn't enough to make me do it. PS. Little helpful way to keep the studs in longer. USE LIQUID BANDAID. This was a lifesaver and helped keep them in for over a week. Which really helped with the cravings. I can not Thank East meets West acupuncture Clinic and Teresa Neiman more. Thanks!!!

I can't say enough good things about CFQB. Lucas and Maggie are awesome! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and unintimidating. (Completely different vibe than your standard fitness gym.) Safety was a big concern of mine with CrossFit and I'm so happy with how classes here are structured. Lots of focus on warming up the specific muscles you'll be using during the day's workout, as well as specific cool down exercises. The workouts are tiered also so you can adapt everything to your fitness level. And yes, the Crossfit "community" rumors are true - everyone here is great!
