Yoga Tree Hayes
519 Hayes St, San Francisco, California, 94102, United States
I was visiting from out of town and decided to give this studio a try. It is relatively affordable for the Bay Area, and the staff were all very kind. It was exactly the experience I was looking for.
Yoga to the People
San Francisco, California, 94103, United States
Up 5 flights of stairs, beautiful hardwood floors and brick walls and a view of the city skyline in a peaceful setting make this an ideal spot to practice yoga. It is mostly beginning yoga but they let us guys do regular practice there as well. I have been coming for years and what's different about this place is that you don't sign up, you choose how much you want to pay ($10 donation suggested). While there are lots of suggestions that I could offered to make the place better it's got a lot of things going for it so I'll just leave it at that for right now. Great place for anybody to come to yoga. Oh yeah what's nice too is it is held from early in the morning till pretty late in the evening 7 days a week and that's a definite plus.

Great studio and classes! Love the atmosphere and teachers!
YogaWorks San Francisco
1823 Divisadero St, San Francisco, California, 94115, United States
I like YogaWorks, but I have to say that a $25 drop-in rate is very steep when you offer no packages for those attending while on a short vacation. Maybe San Francisco warrants this, but then there should be some amenities like hand towels for class, paper towels in the bathroom, free mats for drop-in, and possibly shower towels. Didn't have any of these on my visit today.
Yoga Garden San Francisco
286 Divisadero St, San Francisco, California, 94117, United States
Awesome studio with well paced classes for all levels. Friends get their first class free. Good music and skilled instructors.
Nandi Yoga
309 8th Ave, San Mateo, California, 94401, United States
We've been going there for 6 years now and we love it. Wendy and all the staff are great. It is the right balance of spirituality and exercise for us. Also, many great workshops, a huge selection of classes and just terrific teachers. Wendy knows how to pick them.
Yoga Tree Castro
97 Collingwood St, San Francisco, California, 94114, United States
Yoga Tree Castro is absolutely one of my favorite yoga studios in San Francisco. The space is beautiful and very spacious even if you are in a class where there are only a few inches between each yoga mat. Every instructor is amazing and the variety of times makes it very easy to go to a yoga class anytime during the day.
Yoga Tree Stanyan
780 Stanyan St, San Francisco, California, 94117, United States
Love that it's a welcoming, homelike environment; tea, friendly, pillows, mattes to borrow, etc. The room itself, is even personally painted/designed (even including "candles"), as opposed to being sterile. Most of YT teachers are at a higher level than other studios, and three of my favorites are mostly only at Stanyan.
Bikram Yoga Seacliff
6300 California St, San Francisco, California, 94121, United States
I love this place. It has some great deals and amazing teachers. I love the location because it so close to home. The class times are also great! I can go before or after work. I definitely love going here.

Best hot yoga studio in the area. Classes can get really crowded. Better go there early!
Thriveability Yoga
300 W Portal Ave #Suite B, San Francisco, California, 94127, United States
Small, welcoming studio with a low-key atmosphere and amazing teachers.
Purusha Yoga
3729 Balboa St, San Francisco, California, 94121, United States
Purusha is a yoga school more than it is a yoga studio. The majority of its classes have a firm philosophical grounding in the ethical principles of yoga (without becoming so woo as to drive off any skeptics.) It is a fabulous community with a broad variety of classes - and it is well worth dropping in to see if it's for you!
Yoga Center of Carmel
Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, 93923, United States
While in town, we decided to do a drop-in class at the Yoga Center. Place was slightly hidden inside a courtyard but nonetheless easy to find. The center has a very quiet, calming atmosphere. There are yoga mats, blocks and water available, but no towels were visible. While there are no dressing rooms, two spacious restrooms allow to change clothes if needed. Other participants in the class were really nice and welcoming.
The class was named Level 2 and it was great! Physically challenging enough, but not too “tricky”. I've done "YMCA level" yoga for few years and learned many details I didn't pay attention to earlier. Also found some new sore muscles the next day LOL.
Jackie is very experienced, charismatic and adaptive instructor. She really made us work hard while keeping the focus on breathing. Felt amazing afterwards. Namaste!

Love this place so far! To echo another reviewer, it would be great if there was a squat rack. :)
