Second time to Kenanow Lodge. To be honest, didn't think they could have improved from the first trip. Meals are fantastic, clean spacious cabin, shore lunches, friendly, outgoing and gracious host family and phenomenal fishing. We caught 5 trophy fish in 3 days amongst the hundreds of other fish. Chris knows all the spots, and Sheryl's cooking is amazing. Best value for the money!

A hidden gem in the North. An affordable remote camping experience on the shores of Lake Athapapuskow in northern Manitoba near Flin Flon. Solar and diesel generated power, propane heat and cooking facilities, 10 new cabins with bunk beds sleeping 6-8 per cabin, hiking trails, fishing, canoes and kayaks, bonfire pit, huge kitchen and dining hall...wow. It doesn't get any better than this. A great wilderness experience.

My wife and I had our honeymoon at Kississing Lodge. It was the experience of a lifetime! The staff at the main lodge was incredible...they were very helpful, super friendly, and a joy to be around. (Desarae and Shania and Hannah and Beth and all the girls were super helpful and friendly) The food was delicious. And the fishing, OH MY GOODNESS the FISHING was AMAZING! & the fishing guides will cook you a shore lunch to die for! I can't say enough good things about the experience. We also stayed at an outpost cabin for 4 days. That was a wonderful experience as well. It was a lot more work-considering you don't have a group of people waiting on you and cleaning and cooking for you. But, it was still a very special experience to be at an outpost cabin in the middle of the Canadian wilderness with no one else around....very cool! All of the pilots we met along the way were super awesome as well! Especially Sean, he even let my wife and I "fly" the Cessna float plane. 100% recommend and I hope to be back in the near future!

A beautiful park for boating, or camping.

We had a great stay in one of the micro cabins. A great alternative for couples. Right on the lake and near all the amenities.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. Right in an alcove on the ocean. Feels like you're the only one there. The house is so well decorated and stocked with all the essentials. Love the windows

Great coastal hike from the Newman Sound campground to the visitor centre. Nice waterfall to stop at along the way.

Dire Straits Campground is a wonderful place to go however I believe that it's a place for people who are going to University to rent they have beautiful cabins there I don't know anything much about the campground but I do know what cabins beautiful cabins great service I'd go to Dire Straits if I were going to
