Actual unit was awesome. Service not so much.

I had booked a car for two days .When I go to the counter to make my reservation,a stuff said without a international driver license he cannot give me the car.Whats stupid thing it’s,there’s even no international driver license in China,its just a English translation of your driver license,without lawful effect.I bring myself original license And a notarial certificate,but it doesn’t work here. Besides,in the period of my reservation and arrival,nobody tell me about this. Terrible management there,I suppose if you want rent a car here in Yellowknife,you better choose another one,not national.

Price is fair and services was prompt, but the terms were not friendly We hired 6 seaters van at not a cheap rates, van was dirty and at not high quality which we understandable due to remote location of Yellowknife, they should provide unlimited miles. No one accompanying us to check the Van conditions which is not Hertz standard When we pickup the van it was not in full tank of gasoline, knowing this might be the previous guest issue but the Hertz should have top up rather told us to leave the van 3/4 full when returned the Van.

I have recently done business with the Grande Prairie location and have had an absolutely great experience. The entire team has done a great job at keeping me entertained while I was waiting for my rental. The vehicle was clean, fueled up and I was confortably on my way in no time. It looks like they are deleting my review every time I leave it. This company was absolutely horrible to me. I booked my truck one month before I needed it for two days, the day before my move I received a call from U-Haul telling me I can’t have the truck for longer than one day. The customer service made no attempt whatsoever to remedy this issue, And would not even offer a simple apology or explanation. When trying to book another truck the best they could do was a truck 2 1/2 hours away from me. I cancelled all orders and got a truck through Driving Force who were exceptional in every aspect of their customer service and reliability. Not only will I never use U-Haul again, but I have told everyone I know about my experience and hopefully they won’t either.

Our whole experience with discount in Grande Prairie was phenomenal. Dianna was super friendly and more than accommodating. She even came in on a Saunday to make sure we had what we needed. We will only use discount for our rental needs.

Terrible, rented an suv landed at gp airport and called for shuttle to find out there was no cars available. Do not bother with this company it is a waste of time!
