Car Rental

Negative experience unfortunately. Wouldn't accept our Australian cards as payment - even though every other rental company to date has. Was a standard Australian Mastercard. Very unhelpful and had a "didn't care, not our problem" kind of attitude. Went up the road to another car rental service instead and received outstanding service.

Very dissatisfied with this UHAUL location ..went to pick up my Van yesterday (645 Dunedin St Victoria, BC) to move my office and nobody was there, didn't receive a code to pick up keys and website broken. Not one person has called me back. Unable to run my clinic today!

We had a great experience with Cool Camper, the vans are in great condition considering they are models from the 90’s and they are very comfortable to drive and stay in. I would recommend renting a cool camper to anyone looking to add a bit of adventure to there trip to Vancouver island. Only hiccup we had was that we had forgot to ask that we wanted to be supplied pillows and sleeping bags when we booked so the owner had us follow him for about a 10 minute drive to get them, didn’t delay our plans at all and he was happy to do so. We received our full damage deposit back we were just sure to clean up any mess we had made i.e. Vacuumed up some sand and clean the amenities that we used, such as pots, plates and cutlery. The owner is a great guy, an ex mechanic who takes pride in the fleet of vans. I had the chance to chat with him for a while as he waited with us for almost an hour for the taxi to get there after we returned the van which he called for us. Our expertinence with cool camper was 10/10, your’s will be to if you are realistic about your expectations. Signed couple mid twenties Ontarioians with some great memories of Vancouver Island

Jessica really cares about her customers. I rented a car from this location for the first time its located 5 mins from the airport in Sidney. I wasn't sure about an off airport location but thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did! This is by far the best service I've received from any rental car company. They made sure I had the right vehicle I was comfortable driving for a road trip. I'll definitely be back. They also pick you up from the ferry or airport. .

This place is terrible we reserve a car get a confirmation email from them. Once we get there to pick up a car the guys not there. We get him on the phone and he says there is no reservations and he has no cars left. Highly do not recommend .

didnt end up buying but you gotta appreciate the good service and the work these guys go through to let you see and test various vehicles. car salesman is a tough gig so to remain friendly throughout is a job well done.

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful to get us on our way. Car was clean, ready and full of fuel. Returning the car was just as easy as the pick up.
