Energy

Great quality products created in a sustainable way. I'm a huge fan of the phone cases and laser etched cutting boards.

The whole process was very easy and transparent. The crew that came by my house worked hard and efficiently to accomplish their task. They where very personable and professional, and all around it was an enjoyable experience to work with this company from start to finish.

I talked to Joseph and decided to go ahead with Solar for my house for the following reasons: 1. I was concerned about how it would look. Joseph showed me a number of houses and the panels looked great. 2. I was concerned about cost and Joseph showed me how the panels would actually pay for themselves. 3. He showed me how the panels would increase the value of my house. 4. He also talked about a government incentive which would pay for part of the panels. I came away from our conversation very excited about solar. I was impressed that his solar company was working in Haiti. So I want to continue with them...

IPS of Virginia installed our PV system in Chincoteague Va a year ago and we have generated more power than we consumed this past 12 months. The people are great to work with.

We had Rich come out today and do an energy audit. In short, it was awesome. Another company quoted $350 to do a blow test on the door -- they seal the door and turn on an industrial fan to see where air flow is coming into the house and give recommendations on how to more efficiently cool and heat your house. With STI, it was $100 and that included about $60 in light bulbs and energy saving surge protectors. If we didn't want the blow test with infrared reading, the whole thing including the bulbs and surge protectors would have been included. For houses with electric heaters, they will do other things like insulation and whatnot, but this wasn't applicable to our home. Rich was here for 2.5 hours, patiently answering every question two very curious and ignorant people threw at him, and is now preparing a summary with a prioritized list of repairs to make. It turns out that the most efficient thing to do, and it is much cheaper than the other options we were looking at, is to insulate the basement and the attic. Just an awesome experience, I can't believe how much we got for 100 clams, and how cool a guy Rich was. Do this for your home! Living in Richmond, you will very likely be shocked how poorly your house is insulated. The suggestions will run from what to caulk, which caulk to use, all the way to how much you can expect to pay for larger jobs -- he even told us what companies to avoid. Do yourself a favor, get this audit done.

THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT EXIST

Wanted to get solar installed got a number of competitive quotes. The reason I went with Artisan was the extremely friendly service from Jeff Bennett, he was very patient taking extra time to explain the process. The price was also comparable with the other quotes I received. I was really glad I went with Artisan their entire process from start to end is designed to keep you in the loop with what is going on. They are very flexible and communicative. They did exactly what they said they would each and every time. Quality install (no roof leaks!) and worked with me to minimize the cosmetics of the install to the street front. It really made me feel like that they had my back during the entire process and really cared about their work. Case in point - Jeff went to bat for me when PSE screwed up and was taking a really long time to turn the system on (> 30 days - out of Artisan's control), which I really appreciated. Only suggestion I would have for them for future improvement would be to make sure they seal the lines coming in and out of the house and not using blue painters tape for the labels, but that was caught on the inspection and fixed promptly.

I could not be more pleased Paul got his crew here 2 months early and we have been sending to the grid daily His best estimate was 75-80% efficiency On a cloudless day we are currently topping out at 93% I strongly recommend Whidbey Sun & Wind

Sometimes you meet someone or a business where everything just seems to go smoothly. Kyrle Symons (pronounced "Curl") and Netzero fit that bill perfectly. From the quotation, site visit, installation, followup - all went great. We have an 11,000 KWh roof system that started producing power on June 16. It is designed to supply 100% of our power needs - hence "netzero". Kyrle is a smart, detail-oriented solar professional, and I highly recommend him. (Note: The company's name was recently changed from Prisym Renewable Development to Netzero Solar.)

I travel out of my truck full time. I find myself in new areas and surroundings every day. The best part is knowing I have a reliable solar, that’s charging up my gopower battery. Once I had installed my solar set up from gopower, I was nervous because it was my first experience with any type of solar generated system. I can confidently say that it’s changed everything for me and I can finally hit the road for months at a time and have full confidence i’ll be able to stay powered up the whole time. I highly recommended gopower. If you’re curious I have the “110 Watt Flexible Solar Kit”

Backup Renewables was very helpful and prompt with their customer service!

Though we didn't use NW Electric and Solar because we didn't go forward with solar panel installation, I was impressed with the company's responsiveness for a quote (Sam), the communications, and the quote itself. In the estimate, I felt it was honest in that they used reasonable assumptions. The projected annual increase in electricity costs over twenty years was 3.5% a year. Also, they showed the cost to finance the panels at 5% a year which was reasonable. Another local solar company (Artisan Electric) showed 8% annual increases in electricity costs and 0% cost of money in order to justify the project cost. I thought these assumptions were really misleading and were just used to try to get the sale.

Stardust Solar were meticulous with our Solar Panel and Inverter installation. The result was very neat and looks great on our roof. They handled all the applications and permits with the city council and Hydro. As a result, everything went smoothly. They also helped us set up the app. so we can monitor our energy generation and check on the status of each individual solar panel at any time. It feels great to be getting free electricity even on cloudy days. Stardust Solar made the whole experience effortless, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering installing a solar system.

We have been working with Jason for two years now and have nothing but good things to say about Jason and the company. Keep up the great work!

The team over at Terratek made things exceptionally swift as well as were extremely professional and kind.
