Flooring

Horrible, do not go here!!

We were in a time crunch to get several things done at our house before we had to put it on the market and move into our new home. Bisbee's made the process incredibly easily and took away so much stress we would have otherwise had!!

Awesome people!!

Great service in store and our carpet looks great. We got wool at an amazing price (less than synthetic) so we should be set for life.

Jeff Howery is very knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service. We only go to Carpets Plus for our flooring needs!

Not at all pleased with the workmanship on my kitchen floor from Bates. I purchased a new vinyl floor by Shaw flooring for my kitchen remodel from Bates. I found out after the fact that installing the baseboard around the new floor isn't included. No trim work around cabinets or doors included. Closet door did not swing freely over the new floor, no adjustment made for this. Job poorly done, left to someone else to finish the detail. Bates sells a good product they just don't seem to have much pride in their workmanship.

I hired Josh and his contractors to install hardwood flooring and LVT(luxury vinyl tile) for a client of mine. When I interviewed Josh for the job, he was meticulously dressed, very personable and professional. The information I gathered from Josh made me confident he would supply my client the experienced and excellent customer service I expected. He did anything but! If I could rate this company a ZERO, I Would! His contractors never showed up on time and regularly made excuses to leave the job site early. In fact, in took six weeks to complete the work specified. When I called regarding concerns we had on the installation, he never returned my phone call. Josh is untrustworthy and only out to make a quick buck. DO NOT HIRE!!

Dropped in to buy some mortar. Had what I needed and great service

Eric is the best. Great to work with!!!

VERY nice people to work with, from sales to installers. Great selection, very good prices and on time install . Used them before and had the same great experience. Kudos to the team at Flooring Designs ! Thank you. I will be back.

We were extremely impressed with Jeff Shunk though the project did not go quite as planned. We discussed our options with Jeff and we opted to do a buff and coat rather than a re-sanding despite the risk that the polyurethane might not stick or might orange peel. Jeff came out (an hour away) the day after we called, and he carefully tested a few sections of the floor with Bona Mega and found that the poly appeared to stick well and looked great. He buffed the floors (sending us nice photos along the way) and everything looked great -- good dust and all the usual signs. Then, we get a somewhat upset phone call from Jeff because while he went out to the truck to get more of the Bona Traffic (catalyzed water based poly unlike the Bona Mega), the entire floor had turned purple. He was upset. We were very upset. It was a mess. Jeff stopped the job and went home with little hope that this would end well. We'd likely have to sand it off and go from there. Both Jeff and I called various reps and tech support people. We got mixed messages telling us alternately that this is a disaster or that it MIGHT turn out ok. Apparently, this product turns purple as it drys, but we must have had some catalyst or chemical that accelerated the reaction --likely from a cleaner or old finish. We scheduled a sanding appt with Jeff, and Jeff (still upset) cancelled his job/estimates for the next day and came out to survey the damage. To his amazement, the floor looked great. The purple had gone away. He drove home (an hour), got his work truck, came back (another hour) and finished the job. He charged us only what he promised at the beginning of the process. In summary, we got a great new finish on the floors and everything looks perfect. Jeff was extremely professional and honest with us at every step. Whatever happened on our job is almost unheard of per the manufacturer, and it could have gone either way. Jeff handled the entire mess very well, and he was patient with us when we were upset. More importantly, the finish came out great -- this is probably part luck and part due to good surface preparation by Jeff. We will use him again.

Great selection of plants & potted plants. We found the team moves were very helpful & friendly.

Yankee Classic Flooring did a great job with our living room. Tracy took a warm, in-home consultative approach that calmed my concern with regard to cost, timeline, and mess! Our living room is now complete - and the hardwood floor looks amazing. Another thing that should be noted - is that both Tracy and Jerry were very quick to respond to any of my emailed questions during the process. Very responsive!
