Just wanted to give a head's up to any other people looking for reviews with this disgusting company. They were initially very friendly and helpful at first in september 2017 , I wanted to get new floors throughout my home and I wanted to support locally and heard a few good reviews from a few people. They suggested vinyl floors throughout the home due to having children and being easy to clean and waterproof. I was told they don't glue down the floor anymore that's it's looselay , which I questioned several times because my parent's vinyl floors were glued on and most vinyl floors that I was aware of were glued, but they insisted they were loose lay , and the contractor they used insisted that was true. My instal was suppossed to take 3 days to complete but ended up taking 5 DAYS, which with a family is a big deal to have basically your whole house in a disaster other than the bedrooms, the reason for it taking so long they constantly left to start other jobs inbetween mine.. I thought when you start a job you finish it not leave your customer hanging longer and having to move everything around and have so much clutter ! Regardless the install was complete , everything was all great finishing up our renovations in the fall, then Dec/Jan comes and staples, yes , long staples start coming up through my brand new vinyl floors that I paid $3000 for ( may not seem much to some people but to me, $3000 is alot of money ) , and ripping through the floor sticking out, first it was 1 then 2 then 6, 10, 12, 15 we kept hammering them back down and they would keep popping back up . To step on them hurt more than stepping on lego as parents would know how this feels, I was worried my kids would get hurt, and was very frustrated my brand new floors hadn't even been installed for a year and already experiencing problems in my dining room section of floor. Why did they treat me like this? because I'm young? because we are fairly new in town? Because I was too nice to all of you and patient until I had enough of being walked all over? nice reputation you have built , I will NEVER EVER recommend your service to anyone and tell them all what transpired including your horrible customer service skills . After telling some people in town about my experience they informed me Crescent flooring USED to have a good reputation from the previous owner, but since Richard took it over it's been terrible I wish I had known this before hand it would have saved me money i'm sure and lots of stress, grief and sores on my feet !! Everyone is entitled to whoever they use for their business in renovations but this is my warning to you , beware !! because I'm sure my $3000+ for the floors would have been alot better using another company from even the falls which is sad when you want to support locally . I do not recommend them. We went in and they showed us the materials which we picked out but felt kind of rushed by them. Then they gave an estimate which seemed to be good for us. The guy said they will call us in a few day to schedule an estimate in the house which they did call but it took for them over a week to come in an measure everything. The guy who did estimate was also late for almost an hour. It took a few more days for them to send the final price and it was double of what they told us. They wrote down what we picked out but then later they lost one of the pieces of paper where they wrote it down and had to estimate the price of one of the materials.They also told us they could do it in the next two weeks since we had a deadline to move in but then during the estimate they told us they couldn't do it until after the deadline. Very unprofessional and overpriced. Do not use them and waste your time!

Very knowledgeable, good selection and quick turnaround time on products

I could not be more impressed with this company, Mandy specifically, since she's the person I dealt with. I'm an interior decorator in Burlington and I was trying to find a retailer with excellent pricing that I could purchase Karndean luxury vinyl tiles from. Board of Your Flooring has the best prices I could find, and I was able to place my order over the phone and pick up at the Burlington warehouse of the supplier. Part of my order was not in stock, and Mandy took my concerns seriously. She arranged for the rest of my order to be couriered from the US so as not to delay the renovation of my client's home. She saved my skin! I will not hesitate to order from this company in the future. One day when I'm in the area, I plan to stop in and meet this lovely person :)

Great place but the woman who I believe to be Cindy was letting loose racial comments as I walked in. She refused to help me and gave me a difficult time. Great products and the other worker Jose was very kind to me and answered my questions. Sadly 1rotten apple spoils a bunch. I will not be returning to the store due to the sheer ignorance of that employee. If that's how they prefer to do business it's worth spending extra at home Depot and Lowe's. I am just disgusted.

Late. Did not follow up. Would NEVER use again!

Best place to get flooring

Great first experience today from customer service to check out to loading my truck and trailer all friendly people. Will be back for sure

From initial contact to completed bathroom reno, we are more than satisfied with Matt from Seiling Tiling. Great contractor, knowledgable, friendly, courteous, on time, tidy, stuck to budget/quote. Matt also squeezed our emergency leaky washroom Reno into his busy schedule. We are very impressed with the final results! We will be hiring him again for our ensuite washroom reno! He won't disappoint!

This was our second renovation using GVT. Both times the staff and installation team worked to bring our concepts to reality . from the showroom help , to Kendall managing the logistics and checking on the latest project , to Trish's artisan installation of the floor tiles and shower . Couldn't be happier with the results . Great people to work with !

Clean well laid out store with good variety of items. If their prices were more comparable, would give 5 stars.
