We had our carpets removed and hardwood installed by HE carpets in the spring of 2013. Unfortunately for us and them their primary installer left them within days of our work beginning. The installers who did most of the work were inexperienced and untrained. Hardwood strips were not butted together properly nailing was inadequate. We now have areas near the walls where creaks and clicks occur whenever it is stepped upon. Overall the flooring is noisy. Glue got tracked on the flooring by one of the workers feet and a hole for one balister was miss drilled and filled with wood filler. Overall a less than ideal experience.

I do not recommend. Built a new home, with lots of wood flooring. Flooring is cracked, raised and separated in some spots. When I complained they sent a subcontractor to review and made minor repairs. Apparently, he gets a flat fee and wasn't really interested in my issues. I was told to have my wood flooring needs to be stripped and restained, starting all over if I want it right. Kudos to the builder as they will be addressing my issues directly. Think twice before purchasing product from Custom Carpet.
