I want to thank Nurse Marion for taking such good care of my mom Stella Arcand. Marion spent many hours at my parents house and helped with things that my Dad and I could never have done. Marion helped get my mom at the Maison McCulloch Hospice. Sadly mom passed away on January 8 2018. Thank you for all you have done Marion. I hope I spelt your name right. Ida.

This place is infested with bedbugs and have been for years. They recently got caught up by the state for having bedbugs and they blamed the housekeeper for not controlling the bedbugs. They are a very nasty filthy environment and they will fire you if you speak up for yourself or speak on them having bedbugs. The two ladies in the front office ms.marshall and ms.roller lie to people to get them to work there, they don’t train you they don’t show you anything they expect for you to learn everything on your own and keep bedbugs under control. I think this place should be shut down they mistreat the consumers they rewash bedbugs infested sheets and put them back on the beds. The lady ms.marshall and ms.roller are big liars they play like it’s a bedbug free facility but it’s infested badly with bedbugs the bedbugs are living in the wall

I am happy to give Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle a five star rating. My wife has been a resident for a year and a half and during that time I have seen the staff perform at a very high level of competence and respond to the residents needs on a compassionate and friendly basis. The various suites are maintained very well and the services provided from the laundry department, the food and culinary department, the administrative staff, the activities coordinator have always been first class.

I have been here for 6 months, at first I was scared to move into a retirement home but Robertson House truly feels like home. I have never been happier! The menu choices and the a la carte menu are so delicious. I love how the staff is so accommodating and that everyone here so very caring. The activities her bring me much happiness, I always look forward to the bus outings and my morning walks. Robertson House as an independent senior makes feel safe and happy while meeting all my needs.

Both my wife and I are so happy to have chosen Southwind Retirement Residence as home for our mothers. With its cozy and inviting lounges, elegant dining area, spacious bright halls and rooms and many activity areas, Southwind is truly beautiful. The well-kept grounds provide areas for our mothers to socialize with other tenants and even get some exercise along the walking trail. The caring and friendly staff is exceptional! They provide a wide array of services ranging from health facilitation to organizing social activities , and above all, they are always sensitive to our mothers’ various needs and have a way to bring humour and cheer at all times. Even during a few of those “down days” for our moms, our mothers are always quick to say things like, “the girls are so nice”. Today we had to strip my in laws room. It had bed bugs. Apparently it's been an on going problem. My mother in law is one of the most meticulous women on this planet. She has been shaken to the core. We had to remove every piece of clothing. Take everything out of the closets, vacuum, clean out all the drawers and pull every bit of furniture out from the walls. Tomorrow we bring all the bedding and clothing to a laundromat. She has bed bug bites all over. None of this is financially covered by the Walford. My in laws are too upset to spend another night there. They have to go back in a few days when the apartment is thoroughly cleaned . They don't want to. We will be making other arrangements. I am in complete dismay over this whole situation. We were never informed that the Walford had a bed bug problem.

The nursing staff that care for my sister at Finlandia are the most fabulous, loving, human beings on this earth! Thank you for all you do!♥️
