My mother is 72 and has Dimensia. From the moment we had to bring her there, the treatment was amazing. I understand that the people who care for our elders and sick are the best and strongest in any profession. I have always observed kindness, patience, and positivity from the staff. Very engaging and always smiling. I hope they are rewarded for their attitude and work ethic. Thank you.

Great staff and knowledgeable attendants

My father, Peter Fraser, a senior of 83 years, had his quality of life and activities of daily living (ADL’s) deteriorate over the past few months due to terminal health issues. As a result, home health care was a necessity & Sandra's Health Care (who came highly recommended) was hired to provide said care within his Independent Living Facility, seven days per week. While all of Sandra's caregivers proved themselves to be worthy of caring for our Dad in every respect, "Caridad" and "Maria" went above and beyond the call, and as a result, my father looked forward to his time with them. Not to be left out, caregivers Nida, Mykinnah and Rhiana should also be recognized as caring, compassionate and professional caregivers. My father subsequently passed away in late August 2018 but his quality of life in the last months of his life was greatly improved and dignified thanks to Sandra and her professional team. Noteworthy is the fact that my own personal expectations were extremely high and almost unachievable for Sandra when her company was hired as I too founded and manage a senior care business in New York. That said I’m pleased to report that she couldn’t have done any better and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sandra’s Health Care to anyone in need. With thanks Jeff Fraser

I'm a staff member at a retirement home and my residents get private caregivers from Carepartners on a daily basis. Most of the time, their employees don't show up and 4-5 of our residents do not get their care done. In a retirement home where there's only 2 staff on the floor, do they expect us to get these residents care done?? We also have our own jobs to do and WE DO NOT GET PAID EXTRA for doing their care hence the whole purpose of having "private care" from them. They did not even bother calling the home beforehand that no one will show up. They just deliberately assumed that the home will find out by ourselves. Very unacceptable and unprofessional of them to leave all the work to us. I called them and complained, and their excuse was, "We are sorry and trying our best to replace who didn't show up. We'll give you a call when we do." They even suggested that I should start making phone calls to get a person to come in. I do not work for them and why would I do that??? It's their job to replace their own people. Hours later, when it's time for residents bedtime care to be done, still NOBODY showed up, not even phone calls received. They should be reprimanded for this because to my residents that is neglect.

I am the co-owner of the Retirement Home. I am disappointed that Deb Gray decided to write such a disparaging review without explaining what really happened. She was very difficult to deal with and when one is in business long enough you will run into people that want to be unfair and slander others. I think she was upset because she didn't want to pay for what was owed under the Landlord and Tenant Act which applies to all of us in Ontario. I guess she wanted to be exempt from the law and treat our place like a motel so she wouldn't have to pay for something she was clearly explained and committed to. Luckily we have a multitude of amazing references from current and past families. If you give us a call or drop us a note we can provide copies of them to you.

Great place to work and learn

Kind caring professional staff.

This is by far the best nursing home in Burlington. It is very clean, the staff always is pleasant and calls to inform of any changes to your family member's care plan. It is a lovely atmosphere and decorated for each season or event. There are lots of inclusive games, crafts, and special events for all to enjoy. Vilma, one of the RN's is phenomenal in her care and help with any need. All the PSW's are friendly and sweet. Tracey is an excellent director, which is obvious by the level of care this home provides.

Wonderful place. I waited nine months to write this review, because from day one I was very impressed with every aspect of White Cliffe. They have kept up the high quality care and consideration for my Mother. They keep her mind and body active, which I am positive has added time to her life. Thank you to all the amazing staff at White Cliffe! Keep up the great work.

We were very happy with the care our recently deceased mother/ mother-in-law received at CAMA over the past couple of years. The staff was professional, caring, and friendly. We feel CAMA was exceptional.
