Kind of a rough crowd. When trouble happens, not really equipped to handle it. Fun most times tho.

Good food

Charging station is a powerbar with a single Ziptied USB charger, but the staff are polite and the pool is well maintained.

Clean place, cheap, and nice staff.

Location was great-across from the mall, macdonalds and other well known restaurants

Wife and I Stayed here while working in town Beds are fairly firm good for my back. Rooms seem quite clean and price is great Was very impressed!

Stayed while on hunting trip. Very friendly, clean, large rooms, Cafe and bar on site. Will stay here again.

Very cute and quiet motel located less than 5 minutes from the beach. Staff is very helpful with locations around clearwater.

You get what you pay for. Yes, this is a motel, and you get the basics, but there are a lot of problems. What you get: bedding was clean, tv was fine, the AC worked, and there was a fridge and coffee machine, slow but functional internet, and a very very basic breakfast (toast, coffee, orange juice, cereal) Issues: smashed glass in one of the windows, bugs all over the window sills, stained tile on the floor of the washroom under the radiator, rusty cabnet in the washroom, a large dog pen with three huskeys in the back that occasionally bark, little tree car fresheners in the AC unit and on the curtain rail to scent the room. Overall, this is not a nice motel, but it didn't have an infestation or any really blatant issues. If you have to stop and sleep somewhere, it will do, but if you can push on to something better, it might be worth it.

Great stop on a too-snowy night! Saved us from certain doom on the roads. Comfy and the breakfast was lovely!

Beautiful spot for a wedding.

Very clean, comfy beds, has soap and shampoo, very peaceful, friendly staff. Location is great for driving to Gros morne park, and also for going into deer lake for dinner.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was excellent. The front staff were very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. I feel asleep and when my alarm went off, I was stirred from a really deep slumber. I felt like I didn't even know where I was. The breakfast was also pretty good. A good variety of options including an automatic pancake machine. All in all, would definitely stay again.

What a gem! Rooms were very clean/quite and had everything you needed. Conveniently located and the owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. If you are planning on being in the Deer Lake area by all means add this one to you list of places to stay.

It has been the perfect place for a family with kids. The staff is amazing. I have the ability to cook meals for my kids. I felt my children where safe at all time. We where very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff
