Don’t ever leave your items in the rooms after check out! Nobody will give you a straight answer on what happens to what you’ve left behind. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Management won’t assume any responsibility and the hotel chain is equally as unhelpful.

Clean, comfortable close to Leduc Alberta. Everything like home. Good people. Would stay there again in a minute..

Old tavern almost looks like it's been up since 1800's

I was visiting a guest there. The room appeared to be clean. He has stayed there before and has no complaints.

Hotel rooms are cheap and also cheap parking. Free shuttle

Such nice staff. Place is ancient but has a warmth and comfiness to it. Always my home when I need it to be.

Friendly staff. Quiet location. Walking distance to restaurants on Whyte Avenue.

Good hotel for the price! Corner units have this amazing view of the river as well! Would recommend if you are on a budget and want to be centrally located. Also, craft beer market is around the corner which is great for late night eats and drinks!

This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever seen . There were holes in the walls, stains and cigarette burns on the blankets and a sheet hung up in front of the window instead of curtains. The whole building smells awful and it felt like something out of a horror movie. I wouldnt sleep here if somebody paid me .

Friendly accomadating staff...newly renovated and clean... Breakfast with affordable lodging. Enjoy your stay :)

There was a time when I thought that big corporations did not care about the little people that it is all about the dollar and their profit, Howard Johnson hotel in Red deer proved me wrong. After booking a room and fighting price changes Howard Johnson phoned me and made it right, very few company's do this anymore. I not only got my reservation back at the price I was first quoted they made sure that I had the room I wanted and also made sure the dates were correct for my stay in Red deer for the Canadian finals rodeo. Thank you Howard Johnson your kind gesture will go a long way, I make my living talking to people and remember every 1 person that I tell about your kindness and caring that person will tell 2 of their friends. Thank you so much for helping me out, my stays in hotels in the future where ever possible will be in Howard Johnson.

From the front desk staff to the comfy beds to the super clean room... Unbelievable value for the money. I'm waiting for a knee replacement and struggle with stairs. After my husband checked us in and got the key for the second floor room, we drove around and parked. The lady from the desk met us at the door we were going in, and switched keys with us - she put us on the main floor. Such a nice gesture! Room was so clean... not sure I've seen a cleaner room. Beds are super comfy and pillows were perfect for me. Breakfast was good. The only hot item was waffles (which the same lady made to order and brought to your table!) We found our new go to place in Red Deer!

Come here for every trip to Red Deer. Always a great price and a good night's sleep, plus a bonus breakfast!!

Only spent a night here, but had a beyond great experience! The rooms were really well kept, the staff was incredible, and the breakfast in the morning was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had!

Cool waterslide. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Free parking.
