We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Edmonton with better ratings and double the prices and I was always disappointed. They looked rundown, even the new ones, the bathrooms were gross, cracked tiles, uncomfortable tubs. At the Holiday Inn South the first thing we noticed was the beds, we had been awake for 48 hours, walked into room, layed down on the bed and were asleep within 10 seconds and slept for 16 hours (SUPER SOFT BEDS) and also WONDERFUL STAFF, GREAT JOB GUYS, keep it up!!

Great hotel, I’ve stayed here multiple times for flights out of YEG. I am a SPG gold member, requested early check in and mobile check on the IOS app. Not fifteen minutes later I got a message saying my key was ready for pickup. Got an automatic room upgrade as well from gold status. The girls at front desk are some of the most friendly people I’ve ever met. Rooms are usually clean and tidy. However on this stay there were a few food stains on the sofa that was not cleaned up from the last customer stay. It’s not a big deal as I was by myself and didn’t use the sofa at all. Otherwise the room was excellent as always. Great value for the money. Would recommend.

Was alright. Rooms were a little dated but they are in the middle of renos so this hotel most definitely has a lot of potential. Excellent deal if you need to leave your vehicle at long term parking!

Very clean, nice amenities, good food from the restaurant. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Perfect for an airport overnight.

Clean and comfortable. We arrived late and had to drop off our rental car up the road. They graciously sent their shuttle driver over for us.

Amazing service by staff from the moment you enter the foyer. Warm greetings throughout our stay .

Nice budget hotel accommodations. Great location, plenty of things within easy walking distance, and lots more via a short drive. Clean, quiet and well appointed for the price.

We really enjoyed our time here. Staff were courteous, efficient, and hospitable. Our room was very clean and modern. Beds were very luxurious and soft--maybe too soft for some. Call facilities were very nice. The hotel on the property is very good and has some good daily specials. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try their breakfast since our flight left early. Only complaint is that every once in awhile Wi-Fi would drop.

Clean room, great and accommodating staff, good location for our needs as well. However it's close to a train track so one night when the train went by it was loud enough to wake us up. We didn't hear the train again over the weekend though. Perhaps it might be of greater value if you ask for a room facing the road.

Hotel is clean and pet friendly so that is a bonus. Rooms are nice and well cleaned when you come in. There are vending machines and an ice machine. Staff is very friendly. Would stay here again!

This is a fantastic hotel for people on business. It is a quiet environment with very attentive staff. There is a small restaurant in the lobby. The food and service was good. They have a 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport available on request. The rooms are clean and comfortable, they have Wi-Fi that is fast enough to Skype with and they have a complimentary breakfast.

Rooms are quite spacious. Service was okay. They have a funny smell to them. Location os prime for Union Hall or the Ranch events. Breakfast was muffins, bagels and cereal. Pretty underwhelming but a good banger for buck.

Really nice, modern hotel. Very comfortable beds, nice rooms, good free breakfast. Close to the airport. There's a few restaurants close by too.
