Hotel/Motel

The hotel is conveniently located a short distance from the city center. Independent Grocer & Shoppers Drug Mart are within walking distance. There is a restaurant on site. Center Square Mall is also close by. Old town is also within walking distance.

Fun place to have a drink. Would never stay in the hotel but the bar below is great live music. Beware it's a cash only bar

Good price and good location for our trip

Small rooms. No air conditioning just a fan mounted on the wall that is noisy. No lights just lamps around the room.

I was just visiting town and they really helped me out for my sister's wedding. Extremely nice and helpful staff.

Room was right beside the elevator shaft. Alot of noise from it. Had a bad night sleep. Neighbor were partying all night (not hotel fault), at least they did something about it. Room was dirty and they say they give free voucher taxi to the airport but first thing you know you have to pay an extra 6$ for this service.

My go to hotel when visiting YK. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean & beds are comfy!

The location of this accommodation is really quiet. The rooms are lovely and really clean and the hosts are very welcoming and kind. Highly recommended

So.... this rating is a compromise. We ususally travel with Fairmonts and Four Seasons. So this was a new experience. The outside of the motel is deceiving. That may get 2 stars. But our room was surprisingly OK. Upgraded floors and strong AC. The inside gets 3 stars. But Diane, the manager....she gets 7 stars. She is fantastic. So accomodating, warm and friendly. She is the sole reason we are going back. She made me feel so special. Loved her. My wife came to me after she went to deal with her the last day, to check out and she said "Diane is a Pet. Adorable", without any prior input of mine. So there are two reviews in one.

Clean and reasonable prices.

It's not bad

This hotel was a great stay. The only issue I had was that it was a bit cold because the weather had a temperature drop during a lot of heat. As a result, I turned off the AC unit, but could not turn the heater on as the thermostat was disconnected for summer weather.

The Pomeroy was a fantastic location for a wedding reception! The food was incredible, and they were able to perfectly accommodated every allergy and dietary restriction that our families and friends have, which is a lot: anaphylaxis to peanut, many with celiac disease, fish allergies, diabetes, Halal, vegetarian, adult meals, kids meals, babies, you name it. Everyone was so friendly, incredibly helpful and accommodating. The Grande Ball Room is beautiful, and a wonderful space! I would highly recommend the Pomeroy to anyone hosting a large event.

My husband and I had a wonderful time chatting with our wonderful hosts! I highly recommend staying here when you are Grande Prairie! You will love the beautifully cared for grounds and the delicious breakfast which they prepare for you!

Great place to stay when you're in town on a visit

Havent been inside good to be allowed simple services such as wifi password

Can’t believe Super 8 has let their hotels degrade this much! Rooms are shoddy - curtains don’t even cover the window - AC is loud and noisy - no table for work - remote pathetic - no drink machine. I will definitely be checking rooms before I stay in a Super 8 again.
