I believe you posted this to the wrong agency. Angel Ng whom you had a terrible experience has her own Agency which is also located in Richmond Hill area. I personally have dealt with Ted Chan Insurance Agency over the last 30 years and have always have great service there.

Shockingly terrible. Other than helping to find an insurance company and accepting my money, I'm not sure what it is that they do. I had an incident a while back where my antenna came off in a car wash, and my broker here was less than helpful, he didn't really understand how the process worked at all. End of January, I was in a car accident. I phoned my broker and left him a message. He never phoned me back. Not even to ask if I was okay. I've just had to deal with the insurance company and everything completely on my own. The car was deemed a total loss, so my insurance company needed to send my broker cheque. I was able to get in touch with him, I mentioned that he never phoned me back after the accident, and his response was "okay". He briefly asked me what happened, but did not ask me if I was injured or anything, did not even ask me if I was okay. I asked him if I would be able to come in today to pick up my cheque, he said they were open between 10 and 1. Here it says they're open till 2 p.m. . I phoned before 1 p.m. and the outgoing message said they were closed today. I didn't want to waste a trip coming in because their brokers, their listing on Google, and their answering machine all say different things. I'll be in on Monday to pick up my cheque. I'm hoping they can switch me to another broker who at least pretends to give half a crap about their clients. Update: after going in to pick up my cheque and explaining my upset and dissatisfaction with the company, the manager sat me down in his office, then he brought in the agent I was complaining about who sat behind me, to awkwardly go over what happened in an attempt use it as a teaching lesson for this agent. I actually had to go home and then come back again because I was never informed I needed to bring in certain paperwork. I explained that I was having difficulty finding the car I needed with the amount that insurance had given me (again, just to clarify, I dealt with the insurance company completely on my own, this agent did nothing to help, didn't even ask me if I was okay). In an attempt to smooth things over, the manager offered to help me look for the car I wanted. He then sent me a very poorly compiled list that must have taken him almost an entire minute to put together, and that absolutely did not meet the specifications I had mentioned. Mr Jaitley, I've just read your response, thank you, although I'm not sure your staff is on the same page as you. I've requested an outline regarding what it is that your company actually does, so I'm looking forward to that. Also, in my review I mentioned that your outgoing message, your agents, and your listing on Google all say different things about what time you're open on Saturday. You might want to straighten that out.
