Studying T'ai Chi, Hsing-I and Ba Gua at CTCC has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I have grown stronger, more flexible, and more present in my everyday life as a result of my practice there. I cannot recommend CTCC highly enough for anyone looking to improve balance, flexibility, memory, and reduce stress.

We have been part of this karate club for over five years now and it's wonderful! The instructors are amazing - they teach with such passion and expertise but make it fun for everyone, too, adults and kids alike. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning karate.

Been going here for years now. A friendly dojo that cares more about good technique and safety than belt promotion and competition. Judo is a really difficult martial art. There's no faking it. Like most disciplines of any value, it takes a long time to become proficient in judo, but Sensei Shin does his best to inject fun along that extended journey.

Traveling for work and was looking for a place to train. I contacted them ahead of time and they was very friendly and invited me to stop in for a $20 day pass (the also have a week pass). The dojo was nice and tons of mat space. They needed it, class was huge. The had they split the white belts from the upper belts and basically had two classes, one basics and one more advanced. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and great to train with. Head instructor/resident black belt /proprietor(?) Gordon Emery taught well and was easy to follow with good details and tweaking of technique. Whether you live nearby or are traveling, if you are looking for a place to train, I highly recommend you check out Charlottesville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu . I know I’ll be stopping in next time I’m in the area.

We love Tiger USA- Master Ma and his assistants are fun, knowledgeable and energetic. My son is always eager to go to class. True to their word, Martial Arts instills much more than form- respect, focus, self awareness and discipline have all been noticeable. I highly recommend this dojang.

Superior Martial Arts has been wonderful for our children, helping to give them self-confidence and mind/body strength. Mr. Nunez is an excellent instructor and caring mentor.

Tried to come to a class, especially since they say, "Visitors are always welcome in our dojo, either to observe or to join a class." Dojo was closed. Not sure when I'd be 'welcome,' then, since the class was on the schedule. Unprofessional to have incorrect info on the website, especially something as major as that - who knows what else is wrong.
