Such a great school. Lotfi, our teacher, makes everyone feel so welcome no matter the skill level. The biggest and most pleasant surprise is the fellow students. Very welcoming and willing to help. It can be intimidating to start down this path but believe me when I say don't be with this school. My 9 yr old is in the kid's class and has the time of his life at every class. I'm so happy that we started this journey of BJJ. Definitely a worthwhile endeavour.

A very nice facility with caring and knowledgable Masters! This is a great place to learn taekwondo if you are near the area and wanted to learn martial arts.

My kids switched to Son's Taekwondo from another school 2 years ago & our experience has been extremely positive! Grand Master Son, Master SungMin Son & Miss Kimmy are incredible with their students & their families. I would absolutely recommend their school to anyone wishing to take a martial art!

Pulse Taekwondo Academy is such a fantastic school. Every time I am at Pulse, I feel welcomed as if I were in my own home. Their knowledgeable instructors teach discipline and many technical aspects of the art in a very encouraging, positive manner. I enjoy training here very much :)!!!

Can't say enough about the valuable self defense methods. You will not find a better school in the GTA. Anyone who has had the privilege of training under Shihan Lee will not easily be beaten in competition OR in real-life. Get street proofed here! Worth every penny.

My son has been training at this school since he was 7 years old and has grown tremendously in his confidence, discipline and work ethic. He has made great friendships in the school and is surrounded by a positive and competitive atmosphere. What he has learned and continues to learn is more than just Wushu, but life long lessons he can bring with him to anything that he does.

Very decent place for weight lifting and swim. Well lit compared to other gyms. The staff is decent on the most part, but there is a no video recording policy for PR lifts unless you get permission from the manager. I am overall satisfied.

This location is a full Martial Arts / Taekwondo School certified through World Taekwondo Federation Kukkiwon. The only Taekwondo organization recognized by International Olympic Committee (IOC) and recognized by Sports Canada. This school is a member of Taekwondo Canada and the Ontario Taekwondo Association. Many Athletes from this location competes and medaled at the World Grand Prix and the Pam Am Games and Championships . The only Canadian athletes that presented Canada at the 2016 Olympics in Rio was from Black Belt World CANADA. The Grand Master Instructor is a former Vice President of Taekwondo Canada and the Ontario Taekwondo Association.He is also a Producer, Director , Stunt and fight coordinator for film and television with over 170 shows to his credit. He has taught/ trained and worked with some of the most famous hollywood movie stars including Mark Wahlberg, Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Chow Yun Fat and Charlie Hunnam to just name a few. The Schools head instructor is Master Melanie Phan who is a 8 Times National Champion and 1st Youth Olympic Bronze Medalist. Once per week we have Master Bjeon Mann , 7th Dan Black Belt , Head of High Performance Poomse Coach. He is responsible for many athletes on the Canadian National team. Assistant Instructor is Master Yohan Chang 4th dan Certified , with 13 years of Taekwondo experience, also National level competitor. Most of the instructors are First Aid/ CPR certified, Assistant Instructor/DoJang Coach certified, Criminal background check, Minimum Provincial 3rd Class Referee with National level to Olympics in competitive experience. Excellent school for those that are looking for true WTF World Taekwondo Federation style Taekwondo ( Sports TKD) as well as Traditional martial arts. Some students remain after 25 years and we have numerous second generation students at Black Belt World.

The Sifu's are fantastic teachers, and the community is very warm and friendly. It feels like a family.
