The stylist listened to me and gave me the cut I asked for. She even taught me how to trim my own split ends at home. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes during lunchtime. I used online check in, which I highly recommend if you want to avoid wait times. This location is great for anyone in a time crunch who wants quality service.

Brenna is a truly awesome colorist and stylist. As a natural dark brunette, my hair has been growing in nearly all white and she has managed to give me the most beautiful natural shade of sun kissed blonde hair! Go see her for all of your color dreams! ❤

Been going to Jennifer since before she opened her own salon some 20 years ago. This lady really knows what she is doing in hair cutting and styling business. Used to work in the Loop but even though I'm now retired and in the western 'burbs, I still make the trip in to her salon once a month or so. Can't get a better endorsement than that!

Do not entertain the idea of spending your time and money going to this place. I walked in and talked to a lady who got all my information as I was a new customer to “Hair Cuttery.” I sat there and watched two people who came in after me ( they did not have appointments) get called upon before another lady asked me if I had signed in. After telling her that I have, she told me they didn’t have me signed in. So again she “signed” me in. After waiting a while, I was about to walk out (I wish I had) another lady whom I haven’t spoke with yet asks me if I am signed in; I told her yes and she obviously couldn’t find me. Instead of taking me right away, she puts me on the back of the list, and has me wait even longer. I finally get my haircut, and it was very poorly done. She offered to take $5 off; I told her it wasn’t her fault because she was being nice knowing I was frustrated with the poor quality of service that I had received. On every level of service, from the signing in, to the haircut, it was the most frustrating experience that I have ever had trying to get my hair cut. I do not recall ever leaving a negative review for a business before, but it would be a disservice not to with this place. Not only will I never go to this establishment, I will never go to a “Hair Cuttery” again.

I'm sure their blow outs are fine, but don't expect anyone to understand the pros/cons of their different product lines and what's best for your hair type. The front desk is not educated on it, and isn't helpful in calling over a stylist to get more information. I'll get my product elsewhere!

Sometimes the staff is really helpful and sometimes they completely ignore the customers. I had a facial here and it was decent but not my favorite my face felt sticky and covered in product afterwards

Got my last haircut from this place . Sairz gave me the best haircut so far . She is the best haircutter

I have been going to Jessi Dean salon for years. She is a brilliant stylist. They specialize in natural hair and hair care. I wouldn't go anywhere else I love Jessi Dean Salon.

Hair is very pretty but it sheds a whole lot and I'm not sure if it's because I got body wave hair but the hair tangles a lot also the good thing about the hair is it holds curls nicely but it was very expensive and the shedding is horrible

This place is amazing. I moved to chicago about two years and had such trouble finding a good hairstylist. I was suggested to go here by a coworker due to how amazing her hair looked and it was the best decision! I see Lily and she has added such beautiful color to my hair and restored its health. She is also really quick and lets me just relax and enjoy getting my hair done. My hair is the best it's looked in a really long time! If you're a blonde and struggling to find someone to manange it.... go see Lily!
