Some idiot named Mustafa or Mufasa, I don’t remember which lion king I was watching, couldn’t give me information as simple as if they had vehicles coming back that day or the following day. He also didn’t know, or refused to give the information of his manager because he was too incompetent of an employee for me to deal with. Disgusting establishment.

It wasn't for me it was my daughter, her job is sending her to Charleston and they are paying for a rental, the employees were friendly and quick put her in a car and now own her way for a week in Charleston

This is the absolute worst place to rent a vehicle from. My company arranged for a vehicle to be picked up when I arrived in Saint John. I arrived at 10pm and the company had a staff member waiting for me. I signed the agreement and took off. It was late and no walk around was done. Later I would notice that the running board was at a slight angle. I thought nothing of it other then this must be how new vehicles look. When I returned the truck they claimed the damage wasn't there upon pick up (although it was). Sent my company the bill, and claimed I caused the damage. I'm certain that this is how this company operates rather then put damages through there own insurance they wait for company's with there own separate insurance and hope they don't notice the damage. This branch are the most greasy low life group of people. The way they operate is absolutely disgusting, the filth of Saint John await you right at the airport!

Very unclear signage on car return and unfriendly staff. I understand Saint John airport is a small airport and service could be limited. But clear signage is important for people, especially for first timer. I rented a car from Halifax a week ago and returned back to Saint John airport this morning. It was my first time to come to Saint John and I had no idea about the layout of the airport. All I saw was one sign sales “car rental parking”, but no information about what to do after park your car. No sign/direction about where the budget counter/staff is located. I had to call the customer service line from my Budget App. And I got linked to central reservations. After answered a few auto recorded questions, I finally spoke with one agent. I explained my situation and asked her where I should return my car to. She thought I wanted to change my car rental location to Saint John airport. I had to explain my question three times and then I was told I had to contact the Saint John airport counter directly. But luckily she gave me the phone number. I called the number and was told just park my car and come to the counter inside the terminal. I went in and the agent, her name is Elaine, was there to help me. She was cold and unfriendly. She asked the common questions such as how was your trip? Did you fill up the gas? May I see the receipt? Do you have the odometer? But when I told her I had a trouble on return my car, there was no response. And when she asked me about the odometer, I didn’t answer right away because I need to look at the paper I wrote down on, she was very impatient and asked again with a colder tone. And at the end, she said have a nice day without a smile. She is not rude but definitely unfriendly. I feel like I was troubling her because I need to return my car! In short, two things: 1) a clear instruction on car rental procedure is necessary, especially for a small airport. The instruction can be posted with signage such as “park your car, write down odometers, and see us in the terminal”, stayed in the App next to the return location, or just be notified on the time of pick up ththe car (from other location); 2) a friendly staff with a more welcoming attitude can really help the situation. I rented the car for a week and I had a pleasant time. It is such a pity that my experience with Budget got ruined at the last step.

Rent-A-Car Warning Be very careful if you rent a car over the internet. In December of 2015, we rented a car through Expedia to be picked up at Dollar Rent-A-Car, in the airport at Tampa Florida. We had prepaid in full, as was written on our receipt from Expedia, which they asked for and kept. They asked my husband if he wanted insurance to which he replied no; he already had extra which he arranged before we left. They informed him they filled his tank with gas and they asked for his VISA card. They presented him with a form to sign which he thought was for the gas and receipt of the car. We had the car for 15 days and put about 200 miles on it. When we returned the car in perfect shape they presented him with a bill for $547.00 American charged to his VISA. Thinking about the additional charge we thought that they forgot that we had prepaid. When we got home to Canada, I called and all they would say was, “he signed for it.” I kept asking “for what?” And they would tell me was “it was for the car”. We called Expedia and told them and they told me what Dollar told them, that “he signed for it”. We also phoned VISA and they said “don’t sign anything you don’t read and understand”. I explained that my husband was hard of hearing, the form was long, people were waiting behind him and he never imagined he would be scammed in this way. They claimed it was insurance which we didn’t need. We haven’t got anything back and it has been 7 months. I want others to know what happened to us, so they can be aware and prevent it from happening to them. Overall, be very weary of Dollar Rent-A-Car. We feel scammed by Dollar Rent-A-Car. Sometimes at this specific airport location there is a very limited selection of vehicles. Its a small airport, but I think having a few extra vehicles available would pay off in the long run for National at this location.

Hertz gold got me in and out qith a car in under 5mins.

I called ahead for a reservation and when I picked up the car, I was in and out within 5 minutes.

worst transport driver i ever seen was tonight near kings landing around 9:30pm. purposely triied to run me off the road. wouldnt let me pass and when i would try he/she would swing into the passing lane or would let you get started to pass. get a car length by and try to edge you off the road. called rcmp and dot plate tjg973

No issues here everything's smooth
