Very friendly and helpful staff at this location. The van I rented was extremely dirty. Smelled like spoiled milk. Upon inspecting inside later, there was spilled milk all over third row seat. Baby items found inside. Lots of garbage inside and had not been vacuumed.

I got the car July 2nd and had it until August 6th today, we went to clean the car to return it today and as we were cleaning it we found a dead decaying rat in the car. When I got the car there was an awful smelled I called about it a couple times to switch vehicles and was always denied. They always said we don’t have anything available at the time. So I had to drive the car around like that for a month and didn’t know the rat was even in there. I told them about it and the manager was very rude and they acted like they didn’t believe me. So luckily we took a picture but they acted like they didn’t care at all. Also when you got the car up to 60 it would shake also told them about that problem for a while they acted like they wasn’t even concerned. I have had a horrible experience and they didn’t care how I felt. I have 4 month old, 4, 5, 7 year olds. I’ve already been through enough just recently loosing my 4 month old that rode around in the vehicle. All of my kids or my husband and I could have gotten very sick. They wasn’t even concerned about that. Never rent a car from hertz location 1404 Cashua Street of Florence SC, they are not sincere at all and don’t care about anyone’s feelings!

Friendly staff. Willing to accomodate needs. Cars mostly comprise of camrys. I reserved 4 times here and 3 times it was a camry.

Wow really. I have been a loyal budget rental customer for quite some years now even a business rewards member and have never had any issues renting a car with my debit card. And when I just went to make my rental for a car for a doctors appointent next month I'm told I can not use my card?? Even tho I have been using the same card for all of my rentals with you guys every few months for years now. You just lost all of my business

I reserved a car online. When I went to pick it up, the person at the counter added additional manditory fees that were not mentioned on the website. This was beyond the standard taxes and fees that I expected. She didn't tell me about the fees. I reviewed the receipt and asked questions. She also wanted me to sign the paper stating there was no damage to the car before she even told me what car we were renting. Finally, she told me we could drive in three states. Then she told me to initial a clause on the contract that said I could only drive in two states. What??? She wanted me to sign a contract that conflicted with her statements. So basically, if I trusted her and didn't read the contract and receipt, I would have been burned three ways to Sunday. Terrible, inexcusable business practices!

Only place that still open on a late late sunday evening you can rent a car.
