First the agency is cloosed at 5:30 pm ???!!! We arrived at 15:10 pm and nobody was there !!! ???

Excellent experience from beginning til the end. The service was smooth. We requested a compact car but got instead a Ford flex. It's nice if you want large car but we didn't really needed it and it ended up being a fuel hog.

Pire service que j,ai jamais eu, le commis ne veut que s'en mettre plein les poches, ils profitent en masse des touriste et boost leur facture. Il faut écouter très attentivement ce qu'ils disent. j'ai une van, elle m'a coûté 100$ de moins que mon ami avec une 4 passager. Le pire, c'est qu'ils ont fait une erreur, ils ont pris mon dépôt et l'ont donné à la mauvais personne. Il ne veulent pas me le rembourser. Pire, il ils bloquer mon numéro, je ne peut même plus essayer de régler le problème. Si vous voulez faire une bonne affaire changer de compagnie.

Very bad experience got charged location fee 28% on top of all charges. Car smelled like cigrattes. Asked rep to give another car he said he does not have other cars while the lot was full of hundreads of cars. Lousy customer service.

Pros: you can get a discount if you book with a TD credit card Cons: poor service, and there's always a hidden cost that doubles the price! I booked a car a month in advance for s few day visit to Vancouver, and called beforehand to make sure everything would go through smoothly. Only when I arrived to pick up the car did they let me know that for my type of driving license, I have to pay some $20 extra per day! I haven't had this much trouble with any other car rental in the city.

45 minutes waiting in line at the desk, then 45 mins waiting for the car to be brought round. Then told it had been taken out of service and another had to be sourced. Chaotic.

Never again!! No all Informations are online available! They are insurances they you need to pay, without any informations. So we need to pay 70% MORE as the online price!! The Employees are not friendly and dont help you!

I rented from Avis about a year ago, and am looking forward to returning this summer for a cruise. The service agent Kimberley was very helpful and helped me upgrade into a larger vehicle. Not to mention, the agent was charming and good on the eyes.

I had a great experience here. The staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful and friendly at both pick up and return. Maybe the best staff I’ve encountered at any rental car location!

They are thieves and crooks. It has taken me almost three weeks to get a full refund after they erroneously over charged me for an extra day. and they attempted to shaft me three times. From my interactions it seems that there staff are incompetent and lazy, not only that there activities bordered on criminal. I was understanding when the charge first appeared on my card as mistakes happen. However when I was only refunded part of the fee I started to see how poor there service department really is and what a mistake it was to ever deal with them in the first place. On my second interaction with them I was told these additional fees where not included in the original price and wold not be refunded. This was completely false as the charges where for the extra day and should have been refunded too. So twice you tried to steel from me. After I reviewed the receipt I was sent from the ignorant woman I had the displeasure of dealing with first thing in the morning I noticed this blatant fraud and contacted there offices for the third time (Vancouver international Airport) and talked to the "night Manager" Sarhad (though I doubt any of the information he gave to me) who completely denied that they'd over charged me at all and was more useless than an umbrella in a hurricane, suggesting that I reply directly to the email from there head office, which I did to register my utter disgust of his (and Dollar/Thrifty rent a car in generals) attitude and my contempt for there sorry excuse of professionalism. On my fourth call to them I got through to possibly the only competent member of there staff who issued me with the full refund. It should not be this difficult to secure my money when they had over charged me. In any other circumstance this would be straight up theft and the continued attempt to withhold my money goes beyond any reason. They are fools and I will never do business with anyone even remotely related to there organisation again.
