We looked around and found that Auerbach and Steele had the best selection of glasses for a toddler (bought my sons when he was 2). Really pleased with the service so far and it's great these guys are open on Sundays too.

Amazing!! I had such a great experience at Chatoo--would highly recommend. I bought a pair of frames designed by the owner of Chatoo and they are better then any designer eyewear you can find!

Fantastic opticians, super attentive & friendly staff down to every detail, very efficient operation run by Tom Davies. I have tried many other opticians in the past but the Sloane Square team is very professional indeed & offered great solutions for both my glasses & contact lenses.

Beautiful, well-made glasses with high quality polarized lens (sunnies). The female owners were lovely, super helpful and patient as I tried on many pairs in order to find the perfect one. I'm already planning on coming back to get a bespoke pair!

Had an eye test today. The optometrist and staff were all friendly and thorough. There was no pressure to buy glasses afterwards. Am surprised at the earlier anonymous negative review.

A quirky glasses shop with hundreds of vintage styles. They can create bespoke frames so if you like a pair but you aren't sure of the colour then they can change them. The service really is great and all the staff are so helpful. I would highly recommend!

The closest thing to a fairy godmother I have ever had. I am not that good with taking care of my glasses so I cannot stress enough how good this service is. Glasses crushed by friend falling on them? Five minutes later they look brand new with no charges. Looking for a very specific pair of glasses? They will not only have it but they will have actually helpful suggestions on styles you haven't even considered.

Superb service. The store manager 'Marion' was very attentive and helped me choosing glasses. No hard sell, feel free to roam and see for yourself. High quality glasses too which arrived within 2 weeks.

I’ve always been really happy with boots optician (Oxford street or Angel) but had to go to the one on Tottenham Court Road, for eye test + lenses, really rude staff (except one really nice and helpful lady), always on their phones. One guy (with a beard) was explaining to me the scheme but stopping 3 or 4 times to read his (private) messages from his phone which was on the table, never seen that before! Put it in your pocket I’m sure it can wait! Also talking to me like I was a 2yo... I’m French not stupid! I’ve been in this country for 9 years so I’m pretty sure I can understand if you talk to me like a normal human being ...! Really hope I Won’t have to go back there !

Discovered this gem during my lunch break as I work just around the corner. Unlike most other opticians, they have an incredible range of unique, vintage glasses- I'm talking hundreds, as well as a really unique range of self-designed glasses which I believe you can customise. Elliot was really helpful and didn't seem to mind me trying on (and taking selfies) with dozens of frames before I finally settled on an awesome wire-framed vintage pair. The prices are very reasonable and included getting lenses made (which was a nice surprise as in my experience it's usually added on top). It only took 3 or so days for my glasses to be ready. So pleased I discovered this gem and will definitely be going there first for whenever I next need glasses!

Really friendly, great looking frames and they even adjusted the glasses I'd bought elsewhere without complaint!
