Hearing Aid

Sold defective hearing aids and returned several times where they attempted to "fix" them, with no positive results. The batteries went dead within 24 hrs, aids would howl whenever a my hand moved around the ear. Yesterday, after 6 months of payments, I brought them in with both hearing aids not operating but the batteries were fully charged. They finally admitted to me that the microphones were defective. Original audiologist apparently was a substitute while permanent audiologist is quite capable and seems to know what she is doing 12-20-2017 Company has agreed to take back defective units and have given me an upgraded set and two weeks to try them out. So far so good. If I agree that they will work for me and keep them, they will make a straight swap and credit all my payments so far towards the purchase the new equipment. Feel good about the company's responce to my problem.

Without any hesitation I would endorse Dr. Blank, now located in the Little Tokyo area, if you are looking for qualified and sincere audiologist. Or even an honest opinion on your particular hearing situation. Most hearing specialists are looking to cut corners has been my experience as most patients are not familiar with this field of audiology and fall prey to the unscrupulous (sp). Mom needed her hearing aide repaired. We were able to get an appointment within a day and both hearing aides were cleaned and the tubes replaced. Having met Cristin and Craig I'm very pleased with their professionalism and their caring attitude toward my mother who has profound memory loss.

I have been using hearing aids from Beth since 2007 and I am wearing the second set of hearing aids from Beth. These hearing aids have helped me tremendously. I am very happy with Beth's expertise and her excellent service. I would recommend her to anyone.

The testing and the basic service was fine. Later when I asked for a copy of my record I was told a story that they don't give it out. This would be in direct violation HIPAA (a Federal law.). At my insistence quoting HIPAA, I was offered to get it for $75.00. True, the FREE test is a valuable service. The reason that I asked for the information is that in my search I determined that AccuQuest is rather expensive by factors. I have no issue with paying for a service, I do not like however, to be told false stories. Do your own search.
