Nice view, really good community

We decided to build with Excel Homes as we felt that we received more for our money with higher quality than many other builders due to the build green standards this company follows. We found the sales, head office and construction teams to all be very professional and helpful. As with any new home build we ran into a few issues and with every issue Janet Bonter was amazing and helpful and solved our issues in a timely manner. We were very impressed with our construction supervisor Analah, who took the time to explain in detail every part of our home during our first walkthrough. Our sales lady Marika was fantastic in helping us pick our colors (we are very indecisive!) and choose our trim packages - she was honest about every option and realistic. We never once felt that she was trying to up-sell us or suggest options that she knew were out of our budget. She did an amazing job of helping us to find the best options we could within our budget. We could really tell the exceptional quality this company strives for when we moved in and saw the finishings - the contractors they chose truly did an amazing job. Excel homes went above and beyond to help us when our movers marked up our walls and railings as well and left us hanging without a fix - Excel offered to do the painting for us and they did an exceptional job. They were supportive and caring during the build process and have been equally supportive and caring since we moved in! Thank you, Excel Homes, we will be telling all of our friends and family what a great company you are!

Just a question to the guy with the Tub/HWT issue. How big it you Hot water tank? If it a 50gallon power direct vent, should have no issues.. You may have something simple as a broken dip tube which is a 5 dollar fix. (meaning your only heating like 10-15% of the tanks capacity). That a manufacturing issue and nothing to do with the builder. Pretty sure their standard spec is a 50 gallon tank. Is your tub custom and was it sized correctly is question # 2?

My wife and I bought a Calbridge home in Sunset Ridge and from the moment we walked into the show home, to the moment we took possession, the experience was simply fantastic. We searched all of the builders at the time and were struck by the quality of the homes Calbridge built, we could definately tell the difference as soon as we walked into the home. Leo and Linda were great and such a help throughout the process, especially as we were relocating from another Country so we were not able to just drop by anytime! Nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent. We would recommend Calbridge to anyone for their quality and the honest and open approach they take with you from the start - they don't hide anything and you feel you are building with someone you can trust.

They are so rude to customers and are not sure the information they know .useless

Avoid buying from Brookfield at all costs. My wife and I purchased our first home with Brookfield in July of 2018. As a matter of due dilligence, we asked our sales rep what structures would be built on the empty lot beside our home, and were told matter-of-factly that they would be duplexes complete with two-vehicle garages per unit. This information was used to inform our purchasing decision and was instrumental in our decision to buy. This information, as it turns out, was also entirely false. We were lied to. In reality Brookfield is permitting stacked 4-plexes (so 8 units) with two garage suites per structure (an additional 2 units) - all with a single parking spot per unit. I have gone door to door and discussed the matter with neighbours who state that they were similarly deceived and were also told it would be duplexes with adequate 2-vehicle parking. Brookfield has been wholly unwilling to make this right in any way.

My husband and I had recently purchased a home from Northplex with a modular completely finished modular basement. This was after looking at many websites. We couldn't be happier with this well-built home and also the customer service provided by Northplex. If you are thinking about a modular home, look no further.....this is the builder for you.

don't buy here. had lots of problems initially. now 3 years later my driveway is falling apart and they don't care. they say its from me parking in the driveway but i don't. but anyway if parking in your driveway ruins it lol whats the point.

We found Augusta Fine Homes innovative while having a family friendly design. Working with their whole team was a pleasure and made our dreams come true. Building a home for the first time is intense, can't recommend them enough!

I researched builders for over a year before I decided to work with First Avenue Properties and I am very happy with my decision. They helped me make my home what I needed it to be for my family, hassle free. I have been in my home for 9 months now and still feel like First Avenue is a good friend I can count on.

I loved it!! I could feel the heart and soul poured into every detail. Spacious, great lighting, great quality of materials! The architecture feels unique, especially on the inside! I find that Canadian houses tend to copy a very basic pattern.. but this one feels modern. The only reason for falling short of 5 stars is my personal attachment to European design..
