Home Builder

so far so good haven't been there yet to go look at a mobile home so I can't really leave a post on this one asked me in after the middle of November

In my experience and opinion with Griffith Homebuilder. For us they were very unorganized with scheduling and timelines. There was a lot of very poor quality of work done. Feel free to contact me for more information if needed and I also have plenty of photos.

I have built over 100 homes for myself and for other customers I have used several different local builders and several builders from the Milwaukee area over 35 years. When I came to build in my final home for myself I chose Joseph Douglas Homes I got to see the models I went to the home show and met Darren and Mike and I decided they were the builders for me. The Joseph Douglas Team made the building of a home very simple you can do everything right at their office you get to work with an interior decorator and Darren helps pick out a lot of the architectural detail with you I went in there with a plan in mind using their base model and changed it to my dream home with the help of Dave the architect and Darren the owner. I was able to build the house of my dreams. One of the best parts of the operation was working with Barry he is the expediter and we worked hand-in-hand throughout the process . Joseph Douglas Homes also has one of the best groups of subcontractors I have ever met. I would highly recommend JosephDouglas builders to anyone interested in building a new home everyone at their company is looking out for your interest and want you to have a new fantastic home.

I built a home with Oakley in 2011 and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. They delivered our home early - and on budget. The thought of building while my husband and I were both working in the city with young children seemed crazy but the process was simple and fun. We had them come back to finish our basement recently and the experience was just as great. I highly recommend the Oakley team.

Uncompromising quality, unparalleled commitment to their clients and communities in which they work and live.

If you want a new home, these are the people to talk to.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with Summit Homes. We are particularly impressed with Dustin who is the manager of our build and Trey the realtor. They have both been great.

Best building experience I ever had!

2 years after building we still agree Benton has been the best to go with! Such a great experience! Highly recommend for those who are looking to build and wants to have lots of options to customize and make it your own!

People tell me my home looks like it should be in California or in a magazine! Windsor did such an amazing job and I had so much fun through the building process. Marla was fantastic and the Pats were phenomenal! Every subcontractor was excellent (Bokel electric gets the winning nod because of the fun lights) and Dennis gets a special thank you for his finishing touches. Rob even went out of his way to make sure that I had things happen in time for the holidays. They truly did make my dream home become a reality.

A good house with a terrible company behind it. I'm sure there are plenty of reviews on here about how "great" Davis homes is. However, there is only one rule with building with Davis. Get is ALL taken care of before you close. Stall closing if you have to. Warranty is a useless maze of smoke and mirrors. We have been over a year now doing the three month warranty fixes and have not even started with the year ones yet. The final grade required another grand's worth of work for skid loader time and a tri-axle of dirt to fix what they left. They left the basement flooded for 2-3 weeks and stopped construction for near a month during May of last year. We were living in a camper at this point. Nine people in a camper for over a month past original closing. Think very carefully that your money may well be better spent with another builder. But if you go Davis, get it all taken care of before closing, or you will pay for everything else yourself. Staff turnovers are common, and some of the super's are rude and useless. It really is buyer beware.

Everything Sab C said below and then some. Zero concept of interior design with the décor person at Fandor. She has no clue about trends and home design and blames you for delays when she isn't corresponding. Her and her business partner are all about miraculously having a buyer for your home - for a cash assignment of course, when they back out, bam! Another buyer right behind him. Be careful with your agreement - only they can sell your home within 24 months of your purchase. Surprise! So they get commission on the front end, then again on the mandated sale with them, and then all split the cash assignment. The owner has now stepped back and the two sons are in charge. Hopefully they can change the culture and get rid of old school, corrupt brokers that give all reputable real estate agents a bad name. Stay away - the end product may be nice but dealing with the jokers here are frustrating. I am not the only one who feels this way - walk around the neighborhood and speak to people.
